SPOILER WARNING

Anyone else who is eagerly awaiting the start of the next season and want to chat about predictions and theories for what is going to happen as the Game of Thrones draws to a conclusion over the next two series?

Spoilers inevitable, as it's almost impossible to look forward without looking back at what has happened in the show already. But please mark spoilers about leaks relating to Seasons 7 and 8 in case some pp don't want to see photos and things ahead of the show.

So, who is going to win the Game and who is going to die? Share your thoughts, theories and crazy tinfoil hat suggestions here!

Wow, you really are binge-watching!

My favourite is the Hound to Arya - "You're very kind, it will get you killed".

ClashCityRocker · 26/06/2017 22:14

Just shuffling in to join in and mark my place.

I'm really going to miss ramsay. Horrible character but great acting. I don't think sansa is pregnant although it would be an interesting twist.

I've forgotten, does Jon know Bran is still alive and beyond the wall? I know Sam does but can't remember if he told Jon at a later date.

BeyondOfbob · 26/06/2017 22:56

Probably been picked up by someone before, but varys to tyrion in s2e3

"A very small man can cast a very large shadow"

...dragon...?

BeyondOfbob · 26/06/2017 22:57

Zed, I like a good binge Grin

ZedWoman · 27/06/2017 07:29

does Jon know Bran is still alive and beyond the wall?

He definitely knows that the boys Theon killed were not Bran and Rickon. Theon told Sansa, and Rcikon was turned over to Ramsey.

I can't remember how Sam sees Bran in the show. In the books its slightly different.

ZedWoman · 27/06/2017 08:05

"A very small man can cast a very large shadow"

That particular quote always reminds me of this bit in Jon's first chapter in aGoT...

Checking in for S7 build-up. Just watched from start to finish. Near the end of S6 now. My bid to rewrite based on LF not betraying Ned Stark is going slowly. Working out where everyone is is a job in itself. My respect for GRRM grows!!

ElenaGreco123 · 27/06/2017 12:41

I think in the show Jon knows that Bran is alive, but I may be wrong.

ZedWoman · 27/06/2017 13:15

Who sends the assassin after Bran in the show? In the books it's Joffrey but I seem to remember it being Littlefinger in the show.

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 27/06/2017 13:33

Appropriate name change for the occasion.

Watching the blackwater now..... 😬

usernamenonumber · 27/06/2017 13:43

ClashCityRocker

I know it's wrong, but I fucking loved Ramsay. Such a jolly fellow!
And his Dad - Roose's gorgeous voice just made me melt.

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 27/06/2017 17:16

Are there any other Welsh people around who keep hearing "castell-y-roc"? Grin

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 27/06/2017 19:11

S3e3 - yay, it's Ramsay Grin

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 27/06/2017 20:29

I think Dany buying the unsullied is one of the best scenes of the whole thing ❤️

usernamenonumber · 27/06/2017 20:51

She didn't exactly "buy" them though, did she? Outright theft and murder.

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 27/06/2017 20:58

Well, whether it's theft and murder is debatable depending on your view of people as property Wink

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 28/06/2017 09:38

Just watched the rains of castamere. (In case anyone was wondering - I'm a student and have finished for the year Grin )

Struggling to pick a favourite penultimate episode 😂

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 28/06/2017 09:53

Tywin to tyrion (another one that's prob been picked up before) - "instead I let you live, and brought you up as my son. Because you're a Lannister"

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 29/06/2017 20:54

s5e8 - Tyrian and dany and having a convo about how their "respective" fathers would deal with tyrions arrival...

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 29/06/2017 21:02

Sam "don't worry about John, olly - he always comes back"
GrinGrinGrin

ZedWoman · 29/06/2017 21:23

I may be wrong, but I've never bought into the A+J=T theory. Despite the fact that Tywin has no love for Tyrion, he seems to be Lannister through and through.

Genna - Tywin's sister - recognises it when talking to Jaime (AFFC, Jaime V).

I'm not saying Tyrion is not going to be a dragon rider, but I don't think he's Targaryan.

He does seem a perfect Lannister in his behaviour, but it's certainly being signposted in the series. Whether it's a bluff or maybe they'll go one way in the series and the other in the books, who knows

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 29/06/2017 21:41

I do wonder why his appearance was changed so much on tv Confused

ClashCityRocker · 29/06/2017 21:43

I'm going to start rereading again one I've finished my current book (reading 'a little life' - little it ain't sadly).

I remember my last reread and getting all excited at the foreshadowing when I spotted it.

I do think Tyrion is not a Lannister, although not sure if he's a targeryen. There was the conversation about being a bastard with Jon... And Tywin's 'since I cannot prove that you are not' makes it seem like he had doubts himself.

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 29/06/2017 21:49

I'm saving my reread for when the winds of winter has a release date!
