European Broadcasting Union members and the Aussies were invited to join in last year as Eurovision is very popular with all the expat Brits there.

Don't worry.The UK isn't in Europe anymore. Australia being in Europe makes as much sense.

I'm glad they used an Aboriginal person this year. Missed opportunity to not incorporate some of the culture though.
