A sudden flurry of posts following Cal's death has brought us to the end of the last thread. So let's continue as we were - there's so many unanswered questions. Have we seen the last of Gem as she heads back to incarceration? How will Charlie and Duffy cope with Robyn and the baby? Who is next in line to be stabbed? Will the illegal strike continue now that Cal isn't there to lead it? And most of all, will Ethan be reunited with his specs?

Seems that casualty is heading down the same track as holby in as much as episodes are flitting about all over the place! Zoe pops in, Max gets her to sign divorce papers then rocks up on the plane to be with her, having previously been nudged by oddball former mate from medical school to go back to training in between him setting up an acid attack on his fiancé, whilst Dylan having asked Zoe for help gets naff all from her but manages to get a sufficient grip to pour a bottle of booze down the sink..... oh all whilst Jacob and Elle have a spat and Jacob tells Blake he's his Dad.... ooh and since when did Ian have super power paramedic skills?!

And after the attack Max ran after him at quite a pace and then was pushing her in the wheelchair, not in the slightest bit out of breath and no mention of him being unable to catch him

And he didn't tell Robyn he was leaving overinvested

They were on a plane to Madrid for 2 days not America.

I can't believe busy body Robyn has not been nagging Max to return to medical school, she must have known her brother/half brother whatever he is went to medical school and was super intelligent.

I have just read an interview with Sunetra Sarker who said she had promised Jamie Davis she would return for one episode when he decided to leave so Zoe and Max got their happy every after

It also mentioned the fact he had no passport, ticket, flight details, handed his notice in, packed his bags, said goodbye to Robyn etc

No doubt Robyn will be in a mood with Glen next week for his part in Max leaving.

On another note, having read DV posts from real MNetters, would that girl actually have £50 cash in her bag? I am always under the impression finances are controlled so they can't leave

I thought the twist that the husband had set up the acid attack was stupid and pointless. The storyline would still have worked without that twist it was so far fetched.

I havent been watching since Cal was killed off, but watched it last night as i heard Zoe was making a comeback, im so confused about everything thats happening though, i thought Glen died before Robyn even had the baby or was at least very unwell and here he is walking around fine.

it wouldnt suprise me if Max turns up soon as next clinical lead, Louise was on reception one day and nurse the next, jobs are very easy to get and leave in holby !

Oh, I'm pretty sure Max is only off to Madrid for a day or two. Then he'll return to Holby, work his full period of notice, say goodbye properly to friends and family, sort out his rent (I've lost track of where he's living and whether he'll have to give up a contract, or find another housemate or whatever) and finally, when everything's in order, head off to the US. After all, he was the only person pointing out yesterday that Zoe really shouldn't be treating patients because she's not insured by the hospital not that it's ever worried anyone else.
