Morgan is a truth seeker hence his killing of Richard and his revelation to Carol. And also more than slightly unhinged. Sorry to see the end of Ben. I wanted to see his character develop to be a fighter and to see Richard become the new Mad Max. I enjoyed that episode- it was more intelligent than the usual Savior based episodes. I want the Negan threat removed pronto so that the story gets more believable again ( relative to being a cartoon zombie series!!)

Willow2017 · 14/03/2017 23:06

I liked it. I do like getting more into the characters and what makes them tick. I like the way Morgan is unravelling again/fighting his demons and Carol has persuaded him to stay apart from everyone for a while, but will he? What did he hear in the cottage?

I liked the parallels between Richard and Morgan they both didnt act and their kids died, what a burden to carry. Think Richard was ready to die anyway and he thought that was a good death for him (if it had worked)
I also liked the way his death still worked the way he wanted it too just not the way he planned it.

Still think Sasha and Rosita will make a pigs ear of things on their mad crusade. Just want to bang their heads together!

MiddleClassProblem · 15/03/2017 02:24

I think it was just the wind from having the door open but showing he's alert and that he was sharpening int end of his stick to make it more lethal (or that's what I thought he was doing).

It makes sense him losing it again. Did we ever find out how he got out of the state he was in when Rick found him after his son died? He is the most obvious one they are showing MN issues with as pp said about more people would prob be showing stuff but I guess the day to day adrenaline might have a big impact too, positive or negative depending on personality.

Middle he got out of it by being taught to live again (and fight with the stick) by the big guy that lived in the woods who had a cell in his home.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/03/2017 09:08

Oh yeah! Doh.

boring episode :(

BeyondUnderthinking · 15/03/2017 15:07

I've said before, I think the show will follow the rough comic plan with Negan, but that it will be sped up. To allow for corals age having gone a bit faster in the show, they'll shorten the gap in between one event and another Grin

BeyondUnderthinking · 15/03/2017 15:11

It also gives morgans old hobby in Alexandria (that people have probably half forgotten about as it was so long ago!) a purpose

DispatchReady · 15/03/2017 16:05

I quite liked this episode - Lenny James such a good actor. I was a bit WTF when he attacked Richard! But good that Morgan, Carol and Azekiel are all now up for a fight!!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 15/03/2017 17:18

What was Morgan's hobby??

MiddleClassProblem · 15/03/2017 17:46

I think I forgot a lot of the comics tbh. Morgan was pre Negan wasn't he? I remember him calling Coral his son's name which I think was what this ep was representing but they seemed to not want to bring much of his MH issues into the show. As a MH suffer I would have liked to see more of it.

Didn't he bonk Michonne?

Since having DD my brain is so small! I used to remember everything and now I go to open the fridge when I'm meant to be heading for the dishwasher.

Really liked that episode, liked way they did it, Bens death was totally predictable, while Richards was a complete shock.

Interesting to see where Morgan goes now. Wasn't sure if he was going to go and kill walkers or saviours.

Preview of next week looks good.

Dont get the dislike of Rosita and Sasha, think they're both good interesting characters.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 15/03/2017 22:38

It was a bit of a slow episode in the general run of things, but Morgan was brilliant. He carried out Richard's wish to die for the cause. He avenged Ben's death. He convinced the saviours that he's on their side and he confessed all to Carol and got her back on board. Result.
If next week is all about Sasha and Rosita it will be a bit boring. Obviously they're not going to kill Negan yet, there's another three episodes to go.

Everything's pointing towards a hell of a scrap though. We've now got the Alexandrians, Hilltop, the Kingdom, the Garbage Pail Kids and possibly even the Ocean if Tara has spilled all to Rick.

Bit of luck finding the Ocean lot and the Garbage lot just as the Saviours took over.

Where's Heath though? Are we to assume he's dead?

I think Morgan was pre Negan. He was Michonne's love interest and I think he got bitten in the walker attack at Alexandria. She had to put him out of his misery.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/03/2017 23:08

Yeah because Ezekiel was after that. All piecing it together in my head again.

It's also important that when Morgan broke his no killing rule he did it with his bare hands rather than using a weapon.

My problem with the Ocean group is that it makes my mind wander to the idea of living in a Maldivian set up, barefoot, seashell necklace and I'd be running a moonshine stall 😂

But he used a weapon and had taken his vow back hence him saying it to people the other week and Richard knowing.

Just watched this week's episode again - I wonder if Carol will feel some guilt, as Benjamin talked about missing the drop if she showed him how to kill. She told him to do the drop Sad

So what was Morgans hobby?

And when did he bonk Michonne?

Hmm
MiddleClassProblem · 17/03/2017 20:54

It was quite soon after they got to Alexandria. In the comics she gave Tyrese a bj when he was seeing Carol and she also was with Ezekiel pretty soon after they first meet. She's not with Rick in the comics.

I'm confused by the hobby bit but my brain is fried (I'm having to rewatch the last ep of broadchurch as I have forgotten half of what happened) but do you mean cooking? 👨‍🍳

Sorry, yes - the building thing Grin

Trying not to blatantly say it for spoilers and just ended up confusing everyone Blush

MiddleClassProblem · 18/03/2017 12:33

Oh, ha yup. I think that will happen at some point next season.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 18/03/2017 18:01

He was building a prison cell wasn't he? Like the one the Cheeseman kept him in.

Hippywannabe · 19/03/2017 08:19

I love the Negan character, he is so deliciously evil. Love Carol too. I am not impressed with Junkyard people but haven't read the comics so don't know how they will feature. Think it would be good to see some more of Ocean peoole.
