However there is a bit of me that thinks if society did break down only the strong and weird would survive and all the weaker people would automatically group together and follow them. So perhaps bizarre/narcissistic people would be in charge of groups of people. Like cults do

Yes, I think you're right. And although I find the rubbish tip people a bit over the top, the leader reminds me of the woman who leads the group on the island in The Beach. So in that way, it's kind of believable that these cult leader types would emerge.

Sasha and twat will prob be already dead before that - who's Twat - Rosita? Do you not like her then?!

TizzyDongue · 11/03/2017 14:46

Rubbish tip people remind me of a group of drama students I used to live with - when they were 'being different'. The silent synchronized movement and alternative way of talking. So deliberate and unnatural - very try hard.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 11/03/2017 16:12

I didn't mean that they'd kill Aaron off just because he's gay. I meant I hope they don't kill him off because I think he's lovely. Grin

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 11/03/2017 17:09

Rubbish tip people remind me of a group of drama students I used to live with god I bet they were a laugh a minute.

MiddleClassProblem · 11/03/2017 17:51

Lol no Rosita is a pita. She's selfish and blinkered.

OP posts:
MichonnesSamuraiSword · 11/03/2017 21:31

That's very true. Stunningly beautiful though (not that that makes her less selfish and annoying).

I think it's odd how 'un-bonded' they all are - with the exception of the Rick 'n' Mich, and Daryl and Carol... the others all seem a bit meh about each other. I mean, if you were living through the zombie apocalypse, having survived and defeated numerous psychopathic dictatorships by ganging together as a kickass team.... you'd kind of give more of a shit about your friends wouldn't you?

They all see so indifferent to each other....

TizzyDongue · 11/03/2017 21:38

They were MichonnesSamuraiSword. Laugh a minute, not at all tiresome.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 12/03/2017 00:24

I think they get so used to losing people that they don't ever really bond with anyone anymore.

Beelands · 12/03/2017 01:09

They were super bonded when they all first got to Alex.... used to talk about being a family etc. Then obviously they did all go on the Maggie possible miscarriage road trip. And Ricks vision of them all round the table. I think they are quite bonded although they do seem to forget about each other when they split up.

TheDrsDocMartens · 12/03/2017 08:22

I think some of Rosita is believable , she was with Abe for quite a while and Eugene was their focus and has now lost both. Plus knowing Abe didn't love her in the end would screw with her head. But she's a pita still!

Michonne is too soft now.
Want Bad-ass-Carol back.
Don't like Selfish-Rick.
Don't see the point in the rubbish group.
Like the women's group

cushioncovers · 12/03/2017 12:14

I think the core group are still tight. I see it as the same as family you might go weeks or months without seeing them but as soon as you all come together it's like you've never been separated. And to see Glenn and Abe killed like that would shake even the strongest person to the core. It's one thing to be killed by walkers but by another human. 😟

cushioncovers · 12/03/2017 12:19

Also it occurred to me how many of us have to take regular medication for alsorts of things but you imagine how many people are on anti depressants and anxiety meds and other mental health issues, if they couldn't get them anymore it means there would be a huge amount of instability in people's mental health even without the walkers Sad

MiddleClassProblem · 13/03/2017 21:53

I'm not watching tonight but hopefully will catch up tomorrow or Wednesday x

I watched.hmm.

cushioncovers · 13/03/2017 22:24

Wow. Brutal killing by Morgan ShockSad

FOFONAR · 13/03/2017 22:26

I liked tonight's ep as it has lots of unexpected bits. More action needed now though, I hate to say it's getting boring

KittyOShea · 13/03/2017 23:00

It's building up to a good finale now I think. I felt for Morgan tonight but it was about time he faced the harsh realities.

It looks like a lot of Rosita and Sasha in the next episode which doesn't make me excited for it...

nigelforgotthepassword · 13/03/2017 23:02

I just want carol to return to ass kicking.it was a god episode but maybe a little slow.

Littlebatcalledlucille · 13/03/2017 23:11

I thought it was a little slow too (don't want to give away spoilers)

But I can't wait for next week

eeeeek!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 13/03/2017 23:42

I think Sasha will die in the finale... kind of want more Negan though.

It has been a bit boring this season.... Blush

LittlePigLittlePigLetMeIn · 14/03/2017 07:51

I think this season has been boring too. Last season there was a great build up to meeting Negan (and Lucille) and wondering who he was going to kill. At the moment it feels like the story is drifting. They are planning on killing Negan but I don't think any of us are convinced they will manage it first attempt so it isn't something I am looking forward to.

I think the best chance of Negan being killed is if someone from within does it. We have seen that Dwight is faking, it would be interesting to see how many others are. The Saviours guy last night was clearly upset at Ben being killed. Maybe he is faking too.

Morgan killing Richard was brutal and I didn't really understand why to be honest.

Morgan killed Richard because he was filled with rage, he treated Ben like a son, and really felt his death was unnecessarily ochastrated by Richard.

You could mostly say he snapped.

In a way he used Richards own words that they must fool the savours into believing they understand against him, and therefore sacrificed Richard just as Richard sacrificed Benjamin for this belief.
He showed the saviours that they believe where their place is so much that they would kill anyone who stood in the way, even if they were their own.

Also I think that Morgan may have felt that if this Richard strategy had not worked, just how many more Kingdomnites would die being set up by Richard.

Richard was willing to get Carol killed as well, so maybe it's best he is the one that dies instead .

MiddleClassProblem · 14/03/2017 21:01

I quite like the build up episodes but I think that's because I missed a couple of Mondays so got to bunch a few together. I'm looking forward to seeing the Ocean group again. I like that they know where they are going with this rather than randomly attaching like they did with the outpost which they then found out wasn't the hq. I love the idea of getting numbers and going in more assured as they have been to the bottom but also got the inside scoop.

I don't understand why Daryl went home the other week though. He was meant to be in hiding. Why not hang out and pet the tiger?

nigelforgotthepassword · 14/03/2017 22:37

I thought daryl said he was going to Hilltop? But either way it was an odd choice I thought too.
