Oh yes, mich giving up when she thought rick was dead was a bum note. Her little boy died FGS and she kept going.

I've always though Daryl was A sexual or in the closet. He and Carol are more besties. I would be disappointed if they made it something else tbh. She's had a partner at Alexandria whilst he was around do I thought that was making it clear. Along with his friendship with Beth, nothing happened there when they got drunk in the cabin. I would be up for anything by that point 😂

I read something this morning that's said they were thinking of having daryl come out but changed their minds.But that Jesus is gay.I quite fancy Jesus.
I can't see carol and daryl at all-more a mother/son relationship to me.
I wondered about carol and Morgan getting together? It would annoy me no end as Morgan gets on my nerves but I thought there was an inkling of that in some of their scenes.

The deer was so bad that both me and DH thought Rick had imagined it and it was symbolic of Lori and him moving on with Michonne. Its funny as the walkers are usually so well done, could they not hire a deer for a few hours?

I also disliked Michonne giving up she is such a strong female character I wish she'd raged at the walkers in anger rather than wussing about coz of a man like that.

I think it all happened too quickly to assume that Michonne had given up. She thought she was watching Rick being devoured before her eyes and she was in shock.

Good job he decided to get his arse in gear when he did though or she'd have been the one being devoured.

I think it was shock with Michonne. She finally found someone she had a genuine rapport with, she felt comfortable enough to let her guard down with, could fall in love with despite the horrors they had gone through (or maybe because of) and she thought he was being eaten alive in front of her eyes. It was like the final straw, all that for nothing and she had nothing else to live for, she didnt want to go on without him in that moment (she admitted as much in the car later)

I think it showed she wasnt made of stone, she was just a woman who took one devastating blow too many.

Carol and Daryl a mother and son type relationship, Nigel, don't think so. Aren't they both in their 40s? Although the character of Daryl is probably not supposed to be. And she has prematurely grey hair.

Doesn't seem they'll get together though, it's been long enough, it would have happened by now.

OK looked it up, the ages of the actors are (Carol) nearly 52, (Daryl) 48.

Carol is supposed to be mid to late 40s, and Daryl early to mid 40s. According to the Word of Wiki

Yes, he's still got that lone wolf element. You don't worry when he goes off on his own for the day unlike most of the others. Maybe not Michonne.

I could see him with Jesus if anyone but as they already have a gay couple on the show I'm not sure they would do it just yet. We only saw this gay couple after Denise died despite them being there already. I guess you have to remember that the US is quite "conservative" homophobic in areas so sadly it may be held back by that. Aaron or his boyfriend might die soon. Maybe they'd do a bit of an overlap but equally they'd have to gauge how people would react to a popular character being shown to be gay. Luckily a lot of the hardcore fans are vocal in support of it.
