Yay! Well done Rafa. I do hope he wins tomorrow. ramos-Vinolas has done well so far, but Rafa has worked so hard this year ( and keeps coming up against Federer in finals! ) He deserves to retain this title. He needs to, for the points.

Nishikori has withdrawn from Barcelona, which would have been great as he was Rafa's main threat. but Murray has a wild card. Although- after his first round bye, he will face either Bernard Tonic or Dustin Brown, both of whom can produce upsets ( even if they get no further).

Ahhh, i love clay season.

I felt sorry for Goffin yesterday with the umpire getting it so wrong, it completely threw him. I think Rafa would have won anyway but it ruined the atmosphere of the match.

I don't get the coin toss. I think they feel left out, because they don't get the challenge things and Hawkeye, so wanted something technical

Well, Rafa won (.once he finally got to play). Very unseasonal weather in Barcelona.

Wasn't convinced by Murray. Far too many really long service games. I don't think he likes playing when the crowd are so obviously supporting his opponent. But Lopez did his best. wasn't enough, sadly.

Ramos-Vinolas has taken the first set off Murray. Proving to be a bit of a thorn in Andy's side, Albert. Mind you, RV, is having a really good season.
