Bagel Pliskova did win, but fair play to Cepede Royg, who I had nnever heard of, she did very well.
Khachanov is one to watch, I think. It was certainly not as easy as the scoreline suggested- and his previous matches were against good players. He seems quite a nice bloke.
Magi felt a bit sorry for Andy (and you know me, don't say that often) he was pretty much forced to say something about the attacks, really. He seemed a bit thrown by it on the on court interview, after the match. I don't know if he was different in the press conference after. and
not so many people did turn up to watch his match- lots of empty (corporate) seats. Maybe he was being sarcastic.
Cornet is a strange one. I do like Garcia, though.
Monfils often switches off in matches, but then comes back again, (once he's recharged his batteries). i don't like it, I think it's cheating. But he didn't do it today.
