Loved the last thread, wonder if we'll have a Mumsnetter on the show this year??

I like sections of the third room, but not together.

Ah, I must have been looking at repeat dates for series 3.

I do think the panelling looks vastly better in that basement room, but I'm not keen on the violent pink and blue together ('pops of colour', no doubt).

I was expecting a lot more from Oliver considering his personal house is "maximilist"

Like the third one but I think the headboard is too big. Agree about Hoppen's face, she has gone overboard on the bronzer

Funny how the room that we like the most the homeowners like the least.

I like Oliver's room. He's done very well to achieve that in 48 hours. I even like the headboard, although it's not my usual taste.

Third one is better than I expected.

I could laugh at the homeowners when they say oh it's not what I would put in it.
It was bloody magnolia and white before, they hadn't done anything to it .

I'll be most annoyed if they give it to the first woman.

Thank you Zebra. I do tend to do quite a bit of furniture zhuzhing as I tend to buy stuff cheaply from charity shops and it is often quite horrible so needs to be changed. I am slowly working on zhuzzhing up my horrid orange pine dining table and chairs and then it will be onto a pine cupboard in the lounge.

Well thank goodness they didn't boot Oliver out, but frankly I'd have lost Daniella.

I think the right two of the three are going through. Daniella reminds me of Victoria Beckham though.

Well I think that Katie was robbed there. Daniella's room was just so bland and not right for the girl at all.

The best thing about GIDC is how cross it makes DH. He just sits there fuming and complaining about it.
