What's with the Russian sauna wooden wall?

I like the bookcase and the coffee table.

BringMeTea · 17/01/2017 20:53

Hers is better but no to the panelling.

GrouchyKiwi · 17/01/2017 20:53

I hate Daniela's room. It is messy and clunky.

Cedilla · 17/01/2017 20:53

God. No. Sorry. Random collection of furniture. I just don't think Daniella knows how to make a room look harmonious.

lapsedorienteerer · 17/01/2017 20:53

I think this one probably works, wall panelling not to my taste but I think it's good overall.

CremeEggThief · 17/01/2017 20:53

I don't like the white chaise longue at all and the blocking on the walls is too much; I agree with Kelly on this.

PurpleDaisies · 17/01/2017 20:54

Don't like the chaise longer or the wood wall but the coffee table is nice.

TheSpottedZebra · 17/01/2017 20:54

Ahh, Mr Blue is glowing!

'Not Bad' re chaise longue. Yes, you are very very polite felix

Screamer1 · 17/01/2017 20:54

blue please reveal yourself!

SwedishEdith · 17/01/2017 20:55

She had a much better room to do to. The paint blocking looks dangerously close to an England flag and the shelves looked like they were bowing.

Screamer1 · 17/01/2017 20:55

Ah! Are the couple Blue? They seemed lovely

TheSpottedZebra · 17/01/2017 20:55

Y, surely Daniela to go through?

iklboo · 17/01/2017 20:56

It kind of looks like a mid 70d Bond villain boudoir (sorry). Everything clashes & looks a bit impractical.

GrouchyKiwi · 17/01/2017 20:56

I first started watching this programme to get ideas for my new house. But all I have learned is what not to do. (No themes. Down with themes.)

Cremolafoam · 17/01/2017 20:56

I'd be itching to move random furniture to basement. What a lovely place to live though.

TheSpottedZebra · 17/01/2017 20:57

I think felix HAS to be the couple. The massive blue house is surely the clue? She probably spent years directing people to the BLUE house Grin

She probably didn't expect that we'd ferret out every bit of blue in the episode to confuse matters.

StumblyMonkey · 17/01/2017 20:58

It would be good to know what was kept...all of it? Have you changed anything Blue?

BringMeTea · 17/01/2017 20:58

Probs right choice.

TheSpottedZebra · 17/01/2017 20:59

This programme has inspired me to step up the lighting a bit in my house.

CremeEggThief · 17/01/2017 20:59

Right result tonight, I think. No more murals though!Wink

Katz · 17/01/2017 20:59

did they come back and finish the mural?

PurpleDaisies · 17/01/2017 21:00

It would be good to know what was kept...all of it?

Me too! They should go back in six months and see...

GrouchyKiwi · 17/01/2017 21:00

Good point about lighting, Spotted.

fourquenelles · 17/01/2017 21:02

I have the craft/guest room dilemma in my new house so am seriously considering that paint effect to mark out the different areas.

I would also like to be adopted by the Blue House couple.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/01/2017 21:02

I'm sorry - I didn't like any of the rooms tonight. Daniel is definitely right that Richard needs to think about using different materials.

Daniel is talking a load of tosh about it being bad that Richard compromised his design because of the client's wishes - whose room does he think it is, ffs? They have got to live in the room once it is finished - surely their wishes should be paramount!
