Loved the last thread, wonder if we'll have a Mumsnetter on the show this year??

Is it really a year since this was last on? I'm another who switched on the telly without knowing it was back, so delighted.

Daniella seems a bit... icy.

Still PMSL over 'Tropicana Regency'. Cos Jane Austen liked nothing better than kicking back on a beach with a rum punch, dontcha know...

I love the hula hoop lampshade (although I dislike exposed bulbs). West Elm sell similar things that are designed to just be on show - DP was scampering around saying "look at this little objet, darling" in the manner of AbFab when I tried to buy one.

It can't be a year since the last series, surely?

I'm in a road with similar properties and they leafletted everybody to ask if they wanted to do it. The morning that our designer arrived we watched the finale of the previous season on iplayer - mistake. It was all very full-on and interesting.

That peach ceiling looks terrible.

Kelly Hoppen's make up really is awful.

We signed an ENORMOUS contract undertaking, among other stuff, not to discuss it on social media, but I'll say more when our house is on.
It was a great experience - they were all lovely people.

All 3 contestants seem lovely actually. Though Daniella's carpenter bloke wants to strangle her.

Kelly is one of those people who look tres rich and glossy and Rich Ibiza from far away and just muddy up close.

It looks as though the last series started in August 2016, dillite. I wonder why Sophie's not in it? She and Daniel ran courses together, didn't they? I'm not sensing much of a kindred spirit between Kelly H and Daniel, I must say.

Well, they were all disappointingly ok at the coat hanger challenge, where's the fun in that?

I prefer the breton tops I think. He looks like he's just come from some kind of historical reenactment where he portrayed a villanous but successful wool merchant with ideas above his station.

Kelly was a guest judge last year. I suspect afterwards she realised it was an opportunity to push her brand on Telly and the producers snapped her hand off cos she's famous. And that put paid to the other woman.

I liked the blonde judge who has been on the last few series - I hope they didn't boot her off for Kelly Hoppen.
