I totally agree about all the excess cushions everywhere. Pet hate of mine.

I haven't mentioned to DH that it's on tomorrow. He was out today but came back just as it finished.

My DP hates it too. When Daniel said that Oliver 'really knows how to arrange cushions on a sofa' he stomped out of the room muttering something about how he'd like to 'suffocate him with his twatty cushions'.

I love it though. Agree that Little Beardy Lad (love that!) is surplus to requirements. And Kelly's face scares me.

Ooh its so pretentious considering the amount of mdf and gold spray paint I wasn't impressed with any of the rooms.

I liked the young girls room before.

Thought daniela should have left. Katies room looked so much better.

The show is such great pseud value though. My lot were laughing their heads off over the cushion comment. My DP was angry and commented that there wasn't actually room to sit on the sofa anymore with all the perfectly placed cushions!

All the rooms were crap. The young girls room was no so much nicer before. Where was she meant to put all her books etc that were previously on a big set of shelves? The finishes are awful (and would look a lot worse up close and in real life). That blue and gold bed (shudder) and the leading on the mirror doors.

I want to cover my house in peach like a young hipster just because Kelly Hoppen says it won't be coming back...erm it already is.

Oh I love Little Beardy Lad! Such a soothing voice, very smiley and I think his historical bits are interesting

I liked Oliver's room the most, apart from the Fisher Price sized headboard. Daniela's room was a bit underwhelming I thought, and the cupboards were half finished which I think should've probably seen her out of the competition.

Oooh, I've found you (a day late). The good news is that my daughter follows Sophie on Instagram and apparently she has been talking about her involvement in GIDC there so - hopefully - she will be on it later in the series.

I too have met Kelly Hoppen and can confirm that she was terrifying, a scowl that could strip skin at 20 paces. However, her (then) home was surprisingly colourful and she was really fed up about being associated with greige. She had rather wonderful curtains made from chain mail, I seem to remember.
