Is anyone else eagerly awaiting the arrival of taboo starring my lover the beautiful Mr Hardy on Saturday 7th of jan?

Agreed, One - it's not very likely that the EIC and the Crown will become so embroiled in their differences that JD manages to slip away unnoticed (along with Lorna - who has persuaded him to take a bath - and his son), whilst Zilpha retreats to a convent.

Yes I can't see how they can tie up all the loose ends on Saturday.

Anyway the catch phrase in our house this week, (maybe in many households) is "I have a use for you".

They won't answer anything. Why would they when they can just leave us hanging until the next series (which has already been commissioned)

Gosh that was a difficult one to watch this week! Torture horrendous.

He's clearly a tough old boot but that was still hard to watch.

I also think Zilpha meant "not now that I've killed my husband & we can finally be together".

Interesting to see what he'll do with Sir Stuart, will SirS arrange a ship if JD promises to get him off the slave ship charges? JD and his pal being the only witnesses.

When they were doing the water boarding was anyone else thinking "nope, that's not going to work, he's immune to drowning"

Yes it is. It's like an overpowering theme imo. I don't know if that's the intention of the director but I genuinely am uncomfortable watching the show because of the constant presence of water. You can't escape it. It's always there.

I agree, water is significant. Lorna waded through the river to watch the duel, I think this in some way proves her worthiness to be on 'Team James'. all his allies are at home on the river (including poor Winter )

I reckon the draped fabric may just be to add to the painterly quality of the scenes already mentioned up thread.
