Yes that's how I thought it would pan out.

I did enjoy Zilpha getting ready for the funeral and pushing the hatpin deep into her hat - probably the only time we've seen a flicker of smile on her haughty face.

Zilpha def getting a bit more character and chemistry with JD, husband obv wanted a doormat and that's what she became, without JD around.

Not sure its just JD's influence over her tho, dont think she's just a naive little flower. I think she's going to become a stronger character with husband out of the picture.

I got a sense of Zilpha having a bit of 'crazy' about her too last night. I thought she was going to turn on JD when he told her she had to go home.

Questions: was the little boy on the boat when it blew up?
Why am I still rooting on some level for JD when he is clearly a sociopath at best, more likely a psychopath at this point. There is nothing likeable about him; violent, obsessive, grubby....and yet we (DH and I) still want him to win. It's bizarre.

I'll watch this through to the end, but don't think a second series will be on my to-view list.

Twist - I don't think the little boy was on the boat, unless I missed something?

I wonder what percentage of viewers are watching just for TH. The beeb could film him sitting in a chair for an hour and get great viewing figures for a fraction of the cost.

I was reading that TH has lost £2m making Taboo (sorry if anyone has already mentioned this) - wow!

The press have been shouting about that 2 million wine but apparently he should make it back longer term with DVD sales and selling the show abroad... assuming it gets picked up!

I'd happily give him a £2m indecent proposal if I had it...
