I've seen an advert that says it returns in November, anyone know what date?

Really looking forward to its return! Anyone else?

If you are in the UK they are showing it live at your local cinema my cousins been to those showings abd she said its a fabtastic way to see a show

Blacksox · 12/01/2017 20:45

I was distracted by the microwave heating of the spaghetti sauce then plopped over the pasta, and the sending of giant children to their rooms. Why on earth didn't Helen bugger off to her room?

I am still enjoying it though.

Hated that scene too and fast forwarded it. I wish Helen would stop being hung up on Noah, it's pathetic! Liked that his sister has sussed out what happened and why Helen feels so guilty.

Powergower · 13/01/2017 10:57

Also came on to say that I am hating noahs episodes so much so I can barely stay awake. I also agree that he has become more sexually aggressive and as a viewer we have seen him rape Alison and Helen now. Because he is so so vile it is hard to even be interested in his story let alone care about him. Ffs lots of people have hard childhoods. Look at what Alison and Cole have been through and I still have a lot of sympathy for Alison. None for noah.

I also hate Helen. Whiny miserable old rich girl. So used to getting her way she walks over people and is consumed by self pity. Nina was right about everything she said. She is self absorbed, with no self awareness of consideration of the feelings of others (Vic, max, her kids). Ffs you are loaded, you barely work, you have lovely kids, a fit guy, a gorgeous home.

Can't bear this series but only holding on to watch Cole.

TheHiphopopotamus · 13/01/2017 11:35

power you nailed it. Agree with everything you've said.

I'm still enjoying it but looking forward to some Cole, hopefully it'll be one of his episodes next week.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 13/01/2017 11:45

I have always thought Helen was spoilt and self absorbed too (but did feel sympathy for her). She has now become as self absorbed as Noah and her guilt isn't about the accident but about Noah and that there relationship is beyond repair. I like Noah's sister I hope she is in it more.

I have always felt sorry for Alison I think she was struggling so much with her grief Noah was a way out of
the terrible grief that hung over her and Cole but it was only temporary. I hope they get back together

Surreyblah · 13/01/2017 12:04

It's rarely good when US dramas try to tackle rape, and not at all what I want to watch.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 13/01/2017 16:52

penny You're not the olny one, im enjoying this series.

I don't feel as though I need to like all the characters to enjoy the programme so am enjoying seeing where they take it.

EachandEveryone · 13/01/2017 18:39

How manys left?

Blacksox · 13/01/2017 19:31

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting, I agree with you about not needing to like all the characters to enjoy the programme.

I don't like any of them. Alison is particularly unlikeable to me - she's so bloody drippy and seems devoid of personality.

jardy · 13/01/2017 20:57

I don't like the way it has gone 'dark'. I fancied Noah but the last episode and the sex scene was awful, put me well off.Liked Max,loved it when he told her to clear off.She used him.Like Helen more, always liked her.I'm missing the romance!

LemonBreeland · 14/01/2017 16:05

Hi all hoping to join the discussion now I'm all caught up.

I started watching season 1 on box sets in November and am now up to where it is on tv. I love season 1. It was interesting and Noah seemed like a nice guy who made a silly error of judgment. Now he is a hateful person with no redeeming features. He is just a complete dick.

I still like Alison, and after not liking Come in the beginning I do like him now.

The latest episode was too dark and I don't like all the hallucinations. I hate second guessing if what is happening is real or not.

LizzieMacQueen · 15/01/2017 19:41

So in the last two episodes we've had Alison + sex with Cole, Alison + sex with Noah.

Helen + sex with Vic, Max and Noah.

Will there be a repeat of 'who's the daddy?'

IhatchedaSnorlax · 15/01/2017 23:16

This thread disappeared off my threads I'm on - it's so annoying Angry.

This episode was too violent for me. I want more Cole & Alison. Cole & Noah's sister are the only 2 characters I like but I'll still carry on watching!

Surreyblah · 16/01/2017 10:11

I don't even like Cole character wise! Looks wise is another story!

BoxingHelena · 16/01/2017 15:59

is the Uk one week behind ?

ElenaGreco123 · 16/01/2017 22:29

I do not think so BoxingHelena.

As nobody else seemed to have watched it I do not dare to comment.

shortsaint · 16/01/2017 22:58

Much gentler this week. I liked it. Sure that the scene with Cole talking to Alison in the cell was in his head. Bit odd that Helen just turned up in the bar. Perhaps that was in Alison's head too?!?

EachandEveryone · 16/01/2017 23:21

I still don't get the Oscar love.

MrsJW15 · 17/01/2017 10:50

I liked yesterday's episode more, although Helen showing up was weird! Also, she seemed to appear, order drinks, get through half of hers, and then go. Odd. Only two episodes to go of this series I reckon.

diddl · 18/01/2017 14:45

Oh it's all so annoying!

Cole seems to think that he is doing Luisa a favour by staying with herHmm.

As for Alison-could she be any more self centred?

Surreyblah · 18/01/2017 16:13

Helen freaked out when alison was trying to tell her about when scotty was killed.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/01/2017 16:35

So cole does have feelings for ALISON and went to get back with her?

Feel sorry for Luisa :( but nice she suggested joint custody

ALISON must be mad to think about accepting a job and then uprooting Joanie for a new nursery

Don't get the oscar thing at all

HELEN wanted to join the woman who destroyed her marriage for a drink

Maybe over guilt as Noah took the blame for the accident not knowing that ALISON pushed scotty

Surreyblah · 18/01/2017 16:46

Weird that the custody battle was all about joanie but then she didn't appear at all!
