I was really impressed by how professional Tess and Claudia were. They were larking about leading into all their pre recorded bits for today's show but then they did everything in one take. Tess's scripted 'funny' bits were awful but her own humour was great. Claudia walked around like a child in her mums clothes, pulling at her knickers and dress and saying fuck a lot.

The singer Laura who is on tonight was filmed twice, sorry didn't make that clear. The dancers only got one shot - it really is live.

Brendan was on a Segway - his own apparently.

Ed got the best audience reaction, it seemed like genuine affection for him and not so much a joke. His ovation was prob the only really genuine one.

Hard to have a favourite, as I couldn't see much of the dances but I loved Greg.

Just catching up on the thread. I think the make-up was the winner! It really was incredible. The music tempos and choices were wrong, Greg's dance wasn't really a rumba but I liked it, he's turning into quite a performer. Most of the dances were a bit Meh though. Voted for Greg, ore and judge rinder but that was before I saw ores dance (as watching on catchup) - it was one of the weirdest dances ever.

Monkseal said that he couldn't remember a comedy act before where you could actually hear the audience laughing during the dance. I just watched it back and the crowd are really reacting audibly throughout the dance aren't they.

I really wish i watched live with you all feel left out. anyway Ed was my favourite last night he was hilarious not cringy as i usually i ff him but his dance was brilliant. The music was rubbish for most of them and some of the singing was LOUD. I think Anastasia or Daisy will go tonight Brenda was to showy and poor Anastasia was lagging behind.

Quite gutted that I was distracted by kids just at the part where the wheels came off the Danny Mac train and I missed all that. Must watch it back.

Btw, not at all surprised that Claudia was pulling at her dress the whole time as that nude slip just screamed static cling.

There was too much going on in the sweetie shop they were fannying about so much they missed the start and it just got worse and he nearly dropped Joanne.

I think this is one of those weeks where Craig being nasty will get the audience voting. He was really unnecessarily harsh to Greg and the lovely Natalie. I think people will vote for Greg to keep him in.

Agree about the make up MrsJamin. I thought Alijaz looked particularly good - they got that Mexican day of the dead look just right.

MrsJjay I think Craig gets unreasonable at times. To ignore the rest of a good dance just to emphasise one mistake is horrible. I rather liked Greg blonde

To be fair to Danny Mac I think he is naturally judged to a much higher standard than some others. If Ed Balls was to dance a complicated routine as 'badly' as Danny Mac did last night he would get 9s minimum. I thought it was a shame because I think Oti is brilliant at choreography. I love her dancing - I think she is rapidly becoming my favourite female pro.

Oti is brilliant this is the first year we have seen her properly I just think Danny is complacent and smug he realised he isn't immune for lower marks and critisism.

(Unexpectedly) loved Louise and Kevin's Charleston - have found her a bit dull but I loved the quirky arrangement of the song and it really suited the theme (one of the only ones that did

In comparison, ore and Joanne's Charleston was poor - started off OK but then just went off the rails (not just due to the missing lift) - bad week to do the charleston when your brother has gone before you with a really good one

Greg - loved it and watching him perform, if you didn't know his background, you would say that he is some kind of 'performer'. Craig was unnecessarily harsh (for whatever reason) - others have lacked dance content and not received such criticism am fairly sure that SCD will be an excellent springboard for his future career as he is so engaging and natural in front of camera!

Danny - just shows that no one is perfect

Just finished watching- agree the make up was fab (is it Lisa who is in charge? Amazing job!), but the music was dire- terrible choice for Louise's charleston in particular, laura really benefitted from having a well known one with a Halloween connection.

Did anyone else think that perhaps we are moving to just general dress up rather than spooky? On American tv shows Halloween fancy dress often seems cute or sexy as much as spooky.

I couldn't believe how hideous they managed to make Joanne look btw- so great costuming (I suppose!) but kudos to her as somehow when she wasn't moving she even looked dumpy!
