Walking Dead - Who's dead?

As TWD returns at the end of the month we (me and DD) have been pondering as to who is dead.

My guess is Glenn - I know that the series makers are not wedded to the comics but I think they will on this point and I feel it has to be Glenn - he saw the pictures of the people who had already been killed by Lucille. He is one of the original cast.

Will be mightily pissed off if we don't know by the end of the first episode who it is. Also although it could be Eugene or Abraham they are not one of the Atlanta ones - I think this would be a cop out.

I think Glenn or Abraham. Abraham is already dead in the comics (although the creator has said he regrets killing him off). He's in a good place with Sasha and if you're happy in the walking dead you tend to die.

It will be revealed in the first episode who dies.

I think it's Abraham, not many people would be able to take a hit from that thing and stay standing, hence why I think it's him.

Totally agree it'll be Glenn or Abe, and I'll be gutted either way. They can't really win, if they go for one of the more minor characters they'll be accused of chickening out. Can't wait for the new series, we binge watched the whole thing before the last series and absolutely loved it all

I think we're going to be hit with a double whammy (no pun intended). I think Abe was the person singled out and killed by Negan at the end of the last episode but just when we think the horror is over and we're either annoyed or grateful tot eh writers for not following the comics, Glenn is going to do something really stupid to intervene of piss Negan off and he'll be murdered too in an even more gut wrenching scene.

Mind you, I was convinced the last season would end with intercut shots of Glenn being lucilled and Maggie dying from zombie baby pregnancy complications at Hilltop, so what do I know?

Maggie or Abraham. I don't honestly care anymore. They better show us who died in the first 1 minute of it starting or I'll be pissed off.

I've started watching season 6 again to recap.

I refuse to accept the possibility of it being Abe.

I hope it's Carl, he's annoying, it would be even better if they somehow had carol and she got it, I'm thinking it might be sasha or rosetta though.

I don't care if it's anyone apart from Abe or Darryl.

I think it's Glenn. I know they're not wedded to the comics but I think in this instance they will kill Glenn off purely because they're running out of things to do with his character. There's only so many times Glenn can heroically potentially sacrifice himself for Maggie, nearly die but not actually die, etc etc...

Abe because he was one of the few left unbroken by Negan. He would be seen as a threat whereas Rick, Glenn etc were cowering. Negan would underestimate Michonne who was also still upright.

I agree doc. I think Abe would be seen as 'the best' (Negan said to choose the best if I remember correctly)

I'm hoping for a complete twist in the story and that it's one of Negan's men that has crossed him in some way.
Or those knights turn up and save everyone....
But my house sale completes on the 27th and I'm tempted to ask for an extension until the mid season break as I'm worried I won't get the cable TV installed in time for the rest of the episodes

I've heard it's Glenn and Abraham. Glenn i'm not too bothered about. i think he is really dull, but I really hope it isn't Abraham! i'd rather Daryl died. I don't know why he's so popular, he hasn't had a good story line in ages!

If they're sticking to comic Negan, it won't be Maggie, as he doesn't kill women using Lucille.

There is a rumour it's two. My dollar is on Glenn and or Abraham if the comics are anything to go by. Both are planning fatherhood - lots of shots of Abraham looking at Maggie's scan etc.

However, TWD TV does like to throw a curve ball....

I was convinced it was Abraham. Then I saw the rumours it was Glen and Abraham. But I agree with Middleoftheroad that TWD likes to throw curveballs. I am now thinking it won't be Glen or Abe, nor will it be a minor character, so I think we are left with Michonne or Maggie. Michonne would 'take it like a champ'.

Michonne has had a bit of Rick's cock of doom. It could well be her. I hope not though I like her.
