Walking Dead - Who's dead?

As TWD returns at the end of the month we (me and DD) have been pondering as to who is dead.

My guess is Glenn - I know that the series makers are not wedded to the comics but I think they will on this point and I feel it has to be Glenn - he saw the pictures of the people who had already been killed by Lucille. He is one of the original cast.

Will be mightily pissed off if we don't know by the end of the first episode who it is. Also although it could be Eugene or Abraham they are not one of the Atlanta ones - I think this would be a cop out.

Am I the only one who thinks Rick ? the writers have always said it isn't ricks story its Carls so it would make sense to get rid of Rick for Negan to take Carl under his wing so to speak. It would also completely shake up and change the story with Rick no longer the leader ... Before Negan started he also said something about holding the boy still or he'll feel his father his eyeballs before he starts which again makes me think Rick.

Also kind of hoping its Carl though! If it happened to be Glen i really think its a cop out ...

But when Negan is over the person he's about to hit, he looks to the side and talks to Rick... (Doesn't he?)

Am I the only one hoping it's not Glenn? I like Glenn. Carol too. In fact I'd happily keep watching if they bumped all the other characters off and just left those two, and Coral.

I don't think it's Glenn. I think Eugene, but one site made a pretty good case for it being Maggie.

Does anyone else think it's time the story arc moved on from constantly escaping bad guys/ surviving brutal groups to actually us as the audience beginning to find out what kick started the virus to begin with? People have been dying for centuries presumably without turning into zombies. The cliff hanger at the end of season one - when Rick gets told what he gets told (don't want to say JUST IN CASE it's a spoiler) by the CDC guy - was such a kickass cliffhanger! We need more of that kind of stuff now.

I said that I'd read it was Abraham because of the angle of the blow meaning it was a tall person but he said Ab was in the wrong spot for it to be him.
I want it to be Glenn.

But I also wanted Negan to make Rick choose who died.

Just please don't be Daryl! I won't mind if it's Glenn, I've never warmed to him.
