Ooh just had a sneaky peek at Ep2 and oh my word that was well worth the hour spent on the slow motion and pause button. I recommend it to the house mmm-mm-mmm

Of course every plus comes with a minus - Colin Morgan's on the One Show as himself and I'm afraid is a complete disappointment. Has a look of exFootball goalkeeper David James with hair like a fitted carpet, and talks like the Rev Ian Paisley. No, no, no BBC! Where has the luscious dark chocolate voiced Nathan Appleby gone?? Not sure he should be allowed to enter the wrestling ring on this performance Confused

Oh my. Yes to that pineapple and soaking in a bath with him. I'd take the tap end anyday.

Oh my! Who could refuse a bath with BA? I did have to laugh to myself though when he was commenting on the size of her breasts! I think he could have been talking about me! I can't deny I kept rewinding the bits he was in, but the rest of it was very weird really. Is it just that I'm an old fuddy-duddy and don't "get" it, or is it genuinely peculiar.

Evening ladies! First one on here today. Gosh things are quite.

Well, yes, I'm very partial to a bit of pineapple but it has to be fresh! I really laughed at the bit in the bath when he had to think about how it felt to be sooo good looking! I'm beginning to think the character's name definitely has a dual meaning not just the obvious as I find his character's smoothness really quite cringeworthy - yes, it is only acting! Meeting someone like that in real life would really put me on edge. As for Fleabag herself I think she's terribly sad. I didn't realise that her friend at the cafe was actually dead until this episode. It's all quite tragic really. I have to say the 'on-off' boyfriend however, is quite funny for all the wrong reasons but very useful for cleaning.

Had a little giggle to myself today when the water cooler man arrived to service it and bore something of a resemblance to Porthos. I found myself gazing at him as he bent over it imagining leather and studs and trying to stifle the giggles - sad, sad woman. Anyone up for Musketeers tomorrow?

Still happy Friday - I am half way through my first but probably only glass this weekend Wine.

P.S. thanks for the comments on the story ladies. I'm sort of relieved it's finished now and I'm taking a good break and catching up on my reading and so looking forward to the new series of OG plus I saw some write ups about new autumn dramas including our other favourite captain (Poldark). Happy viewings!

Am sick cover for work tomorrow so am crossing my fingers no one is poorly, have had quite enough for this week!!

Was telling someone at work to watch fleabag and now slightly concerned that maybe it won't be her cup of tea. I did warn her about the naughty bits tho Blush

I've just read that the Musketeers is a two-parter mads with the final episode on Monday evening. Sounds like it's the conclusion and the write up suggests there is a 'schmaltzy postscript'. Hope that means a HEA for everyone!

Digital Spy have got their knickers in a twist about the scheduling of Musketeers
http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/the-musketeers/feature/a802897/the-musketeers-series-3-got-a-raw-deal-and-deserved-so-much-better/

Interesting that the viewing figures seem consistent, those men in leather must have something to do with it Wink

Monday?! That's weird. Not sure I'll make it to that one but will definately watch tomorrow. They are obviously going to do a nice cliff hanger ending for the first part.

Evening all

I also managed to watch fleabag too....loving seeing BA in something new but can't say I'm finding his character that attractive! Much prefer CJ!

I was also brought up wearing C&A. I remember one new year staying in London and going to the sales (back when they started in the new year). I was so excited to spend my Christmas money in C&A in London!

rhu I also really enjoyed your story. I'm keeping it on my FF so I can read again from the start.

I hope those of you on holiday are having a fab time and that the school holidays aren't proving too painful for the rest. Though you've already said it's been trying kelly, I guess you're already counting down the weeks.

That's interesting pix. I agree that it was moved all over the place probably to it's detriment but it was also interesting how Digital Spy thinks it's the best series and RT actually said the opposite in as much as it's tried to be more than just the swashbuckling show it was originally and has turned out to be something less. It's a curious one really. I still think it never really decided what sort of show it was supposed to be and has flitted around being neither heavy drama nor light-hearted family viewing. I think it should have filled the Saturday night slot vacated by Dr Who, Robin Hood, Merlin etc and confidently declared itself to be family viewing with something for the kids but also something for the mums (of a certain hormonal age) and dads. However, it's tried to be adult viewing and it doesn't quite work. Yes, I like all the leathery, beardy ( to my huge surprise), heroes and jolly japes but I don't quite feel menaced by it or ever really think the heroes are in danger - recent episodes come to mind.

mads I reckon it will be a bit like the end of series 2 or episode 4 of OG - 'To be Continued'.

Rhubarb you have been more eloquent in your review of Fleabag than I was. Yes, he was very good looking (as I guess he is in anything we watch!) but his actual character is a bit on the creepy side. If I saw somebody like that in my local supermarket, I would walk in the opposite direction! As for commenting on the flow of her period....... made me cringe. Fleabag herself is indeed a sad character, no self-esteem at all.

Had a bit of a panic stricken day as I have a strange lump on my little toe which has appeared overnight but isn't a bite or blister. I'm diabetic (think I've said before) and you have to be careful with any foot problems. I got an urgent appointment at the surgery - not usually so paranoid but with all the horrible illnesses we've had at work lately, I got a bit uptight to say the least. Seems it's some sort of infection but I've been told to go back if it doesn't sort itself out with the cream he's given me.

pixie great update - lovely treat to start off the weekend. Thank you.

Morning all. Didn't get called to work so off someone with the dog and small person for a few hours. Overcast and muggy but hoping it stays dry. Have a good all and looking forward to some muskateers action later Smile

Evening all.

Busy day just sorting the rucksack for London. K is very excited, I'm probably equally excited but a bit nervous too. Only in the way of navigating the underground on my own without the excellent guides I had last time Smile

Have a fab time ice and take loads of pictures.

Off to Spain tomorrow, just having a well deserved G&T for doing all the packing as everyone buggered off out today and left me to it!

I should be able to dip in and out as we have wifi.

I have a photo of the underground map on my phone ice, so it's always to hand. Despite what people say I've always found Londoners to be nice to people with kids. I used to take DS down in his buggy and there was always someone offering to help with stairs etc.

Just got back from London ourselves, took myself DS to see the Smallfilms display at the Museum of Childhood where I got to see Bagpuss and the original Clangers etc. We went to the Olympic Park as well. Absolutely shattered and in need of a large gin.
