Ok, so who is the baby daddy?

OP posts:
eddiemairswife · 30/09/2016 08:18

I just wondered what they did with the body. Maria hasn't a garden to bury him in. Would the vet take him? It would need more than one person to carry him downstairs.

Costacoffeeplease · 30/09/2016 08:40

One of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer and pts the same afternoon - it does happen

stonecircle · 30/09/2016 09:15

Oh god Costa - I'm so sorry to hear that. How awful for you FlowersFlowersFlowers

I just couldn't imagine it happening to a dog that was tucking into his food and trotting round the kitchen quite happily.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Costacoffeeplease · 30/09/2016 09:37

Thanks - it's ok, it was about 10 years ago now, but it was a shock at the time, he was an 8 year old golden retriever, a beautiful boy

Spin789 · 30/09/2016 20:57

I thought it was a bit odd that Maria didn't mention Liam, I'm sure ozzy was originally his, surely she'd have said how ozzy was the last thing left from Liam or something like that.

BlackDoglet · 30/09/2016 21:00

Didn't Kirk'ee' say they'd had him for years together when they were younger and that's what that cheesey singing was?

eddiemairswife · 30/09/2016 22:09

Put to sleep yesterday. Ashes back today. Really?

Costacoffeeplease · 01/10/2016 00:43

Yes, very possibly

MyBeloved · 01/10/2016 01:01

Ashes normally take about 7-10 days tbh..

Costacoffeeplease · 01/10/2016 01:18

Not imho

mollie123 · 01/10/2016 05:28

Surely the ashes don't come back in a tupperware box! in my experience they arrive back in a nice wooden box with the dog's name on it which is part of what you pay for.

Costacoffeeplease · 01/10/2016 08:05

The nice wooden box is usually an extra, ime, I've had ashes returned in a cardboard box before

MyBeloved · 01/10/2016 08:56

Vet nurse in the family says so and has worked at many practices. The body has to go off to a special place to be cremated - it is not done at the vet's. The ashes are then sent back. This is done on a weekly basis so depends when in the week poor Ozzy died to coincide with the 'collection' iyswim :(

MyBeloved · 01/10/2016 08:57

Sorry for your loss Costa Flowers

Costacoffeeplease · 01/10/2016 09:28

Thank you

mollie123 · 01/10/2016 10:38

surely Maria could run to a wooden box for her 'beloved' dog and Kirk could contribute if she was short. I have 'wooden box' of my beloved dogs on my dresser and they move with me. Was going to scatter but need to find a nice secluded spot sometime in the future so they can all be together (soft I know)
Why has Beth'ie' become this shambling wailing character constantly bewailing the loss of her 'kirkie' and 'craigie' instead of getting on with sorting it out. She is very annoying and taking up too much of the storyline. Nearly as annoying as Gemma. Hmm

Costacoffeeplease · 01/10/2016 11:05

And sinead and her gormless gurning

eddiemairswife · 01/10/2016 12:01

Why is everything done in such a rush? Maria has obvlously been in touch with Pablo, as she wasn't surprised when he phoned, so she would have been aware of any possible problems looming. It's as though the producers suddenly remembered him and have shoe-horned him into a 'dramatic' storyline so that Maria has to dash to London straightaway.

absolutelynotfabulous · 01/10/2016 12:12

I'm confused by the Phelan/Todd storyline. I must've missed a bit. Is Todd genuinely on board now or is it a wind-up?

Not so long ago he'd called the police on Phelan..

Stillwaitingforthesummer2come · 02/10/2016 22:27

No I don't know what Todd really thinks. Does he really love Billy?

eatdrinkandbemarysfairy · 04/10/2016 07:54

i was cringing last night watching steves acting, i think his acting is terrible worse than caz even when hes doing comedy hes not funny but last night was the worst.
i wonder if that story line with the footballer was quickly wrote in because of sharriffs leaving

ProfYaffle · 04/10/2016 17:16

Yy, I was cringing at the footballer thing too.

I'm also getting a bit Hmm at Vinny threatening to kill anyone who vaguely irritates him.

DiegeticMuch · 05/10/2016 15:55

The footballer thing was cringe making.

BlackDoglet · 11/10/2016 08:13

Peter's back next week...

MadHattersWineParty · 11/10/2016 14:31

This muscular genetic thing they're up in arms about after Jim's phone call....

A shitter I grant you and I don't want to sound flippant, but Steve is over 40 and had no idea there was anything wrong with him, therefore no symptoms. Jim is over 70 and only just found out/started getting symptoms now!

So it doesn't really make sense Michelle weeping and wailing about little toddlers in the supermarket and what are they going to do. It's not ideal no but presumably not that pressing if the baby won't even get symptoms until well after they draw their bloody pensions??? She should be more concerned for Steve at this point?! If it's carrying it the baby will need precisely no extra care?! And now Leanne has gone hysterical aswell.
