Ok, so who is the baby daddy?

Liz is an interfering busybody - and the clothes are getting worse (shallow I know)
what Steve and/or Leanne decide to do is NOTHING to do with her -
I cannot see Nick getting over the news about Steve being the daddy. Why on earth did Leanne tell him he was the father - she could easily have covered up the id of the daddy and avoided all this angst (but then this is soapland)

This is not a spoiler, but I reckon Craig will track down his dad and visit him in prison.

I don't know why Nick was saying they could never make it work as Steve would always be there, over the road. Five minutes ago Leanne was about to move to Liverpool, and Nick was off to Devon - so why don't they just move to somewhere where Steve wont be anywhere near them

Don't know whether Craig tracks him down but his ex-con Dad definitely is coming into the show and he's played by the actor who used to play Butch Dingle in Emmerdale.

southeastdweller, I could actually see that being a good casting, Butch Dingle did look a bit like Craig from what I remember.

God you could imagine Liz being on here "my son won't let me see my grandchild!" What the actual fuck was that hideous white and sparkly tracksuit?

does anyone remember butches death in emmerdale, it was one of the saddest deaths ive seen on tv. i had tears in my eyes

I haven't watched Emmerdale for years, but I remember Butch. He married a girl from a rival family - a pretty girl with a mousy voice. I remember the girl's dad offering to bear his coffin which led to the two fathers getting on better. I still think of Butch as being about 25 lol. Physically, it's great casting.

Liz is driving me daft at the moment with all the interfering. It's a bit of a Corrie trope though isn't it? Mums getting over involved in their sons' relationships (cf Anna and Eileen) I think it's a lazy shortcut for the writers in signposting that they're supposed to be strong matriarchs like Elsie Tanner.

But they're just annoying and I'm rooting for Steve, Todd and Gary to just them to fuck off.

I really hope the bully gets her comeuppance, she's hideous.

Maria gets Caz a job at the factory (twists Aidan's arm). Then there's a kiss between Caz and Maria. This means Caz is to stay.

They all seem to live with their mothers as well which probably doesn't work.

In soaps no one ever seems to worry about space in their houses for more Dc or costs.

No character is allowed to work in a business other than one of those on the street. That's the rule.

i watched an episode of cold feet yesterday and caz was in it and her acting was quite good seems her acting as got worse with age

I thought Nick was absolutely vile; relishing Steve's anguish, and mocking him for his supposedly lack of intellect. Yes, Steve's an idiot, but he's without malice and is genuinely in love with Michelle. Another point; with regard to the holiday Nick has booked, he said he had spoken to Robert, Simon and who else?

There is still blabber-mouth Liz to contend with and she will not be able to keep quiet about her third grandchild unless she leaves as well.

Just speed watched the last omnibus - where did Maria's flash VW beetle cabriolet spring from when she went to look for Caz ? - I didn't even know Maria could drive!

Read that Peter Barlow will be back in a few weeks followed by Adam and Daniel - where will they all sleep at Ken's, since Tracey and Amy live there? The ever expanding 2 up 2 downs that miraculously can house the many. My eldest commented on the Platt's house - Gail, David, Max,Lily, Harry, Bethany and Sarah - all seemingly with their own rooms.

Yes - I know it is a soap and not realistic, but sometimes it's hard to suspend disbelief
