Pop Yes, Toyah and Peter. Hugely far fetched as per usual

Having just rewound it I realise that they're not the same person now! I really need to pay more attention!

Spin, Toyah said to Leanne she'd met her 'new man' when she was visiting down south, so she must've bumped into Peter in a bar or something.

I think the girl is the one who took David's wallet, and the guy who was following her then came across Bethany, but I didn't think he was Jude - Jude was a lot taller.

Just watched tonight's episode, feel like I didn't know what was happening half the time. How would Peter and Toyah have ended up together? I thought Peter was supposed to have being living away down South somewhere?
Who was the girl who the vicar took home? I thought she looked like the same one who stole David's wallet last week but not sure? Where's Mary's son suddenly rocked up from, and what did he do to Bethany? Oh, and I don't like the way they keep using music and funny camera shots lately!

I suspected Toyah the minute they said she was coming back about a month ago.

I thought it must be Toyah. He booked the hotel for him and Ms Battersby

It isn't Toyah. I've seen photos of the mystery woman.

Will Peter's new squeeze turn out to be Toyah, then, or what?

Yes, and there was potential there, in Steph, but it looks like the writers / producers were too busy putting Maria centre stage, yawn.

I knew Andy was leaving but not Steph. I thought Andy's leaving story was that he was going to get a writing job - with his new found love of writing horror stories - not be blackmailed by" eyes in the back of his head" Phelan. Steph did have potential but Gandy was always grey.

Same here loinnir - I on,y watch occasionally, I need a break from it at this stage.

Both Andy and Steph are leaving. I think Steph could have been given a much better role, she had potential, IMO.

Robert and Michelle are going to start an affair and the guilt drives her to think about killing herself, I've read.

Yeah - that story line looks dire as does the return story line for Rosie Webster. We don't want Brookside (in it's dog days) FGS. I have been watching Corrie a lot less recently and think I may stop for awhile. The Phelan repeating saga and the Maria snoozefest are beyond dire. Hate Gemma too.

Woman, Stanley. Woman.

Classic comedy with a good measure of pathos thrown in too. The golden days of Corrie.

Myotonic dystrophy is one of those conditions that can manifest itself increasingly severely in subsequent generations, so Jim may have very mild symptoms but his children/grandchildren could have much more severe symptoms if they have inherited it. One family I know who have MD in their family have no symptoms in the grandparent, some symptoms in their daughter and severe symptoms in her child (their grandchild), so I think it's quite credible that it wasn't found out until quite late in Jim.
