I'm not sure what people were expecting of Sophia's return. After what she had experienced, it would have been weird and incongruous if she had come back the same person who left. I thought it was pitched just right.

I think the return itself was as expected..I just thought she would do something.Maybe that will come next season...

Episode 11 with Lolly and Suzanne's stories had me sobbing. Then 12 with Poussey dying was even worse!
This series has been so much better than the third series. I hope the next 3 series are just as good as this one.

Was she sent to prison for credit card fraud?

Tasty's performance was brilliant. She as a character deserves a bit of growth now, though. I really want her to have a happy ending.

I have just binge watched it. Oh, I LOVED it.

I didn't really enjoy s3, but this one was fab.

Such great acting and writing. I am now bereft.

Quick question - what happened to the hot guard who was father to Dana's baby? He dissappeared in S2.

I don't know what happened to Bennet. I always had a feeling he was the guy that tipped off the FBI to raid Ceser's house, but it was never explained. He just disappeared.

The actor that played Bennet was then in How To Get Away With Murder so moved on. I do hope they bring him back somehow, his behaviour was so awful

I've enjoyed this series the most - there was so much going on!

So gutted about Poussey but brilliant script writing.

I think Daya will shoot Humps under the peer pressure but then she'll get tackled by one of the 'opposing' sites and it's all going to kick off with many characters throwing their lives (even further) down the pan.

I just saw the threesome. I have no words.

I loved Luschek and Yoga Jones looking all come-down and shocked afterwards and Judy looking smug and relaxed and reading the paper. There's so much humour in OITNB.

I'm glad to see they're using Nicky more. I don't know what it is but she is so watchable.

The one character I don't really like is Nicky. Doesn't ring true to me, don't know why. All that talking through her bottom teeth...

The threesome was nothing short of horrific! I close my eyes through the lesbian sex scenes as it is - but that just was worse x1000.

Eek - it's too graphic for me.

Are we strange? My dh can't watch 2 guys snogging on TV.

Disclaimer - I totally love lesbians. Have married into a family delightfully full of 'em. I just don't want to watch them having oral sex.

I find Nicky the complete opposite of watchable Grin I thpught she was beyond awful this season.

The sex scenes weren't as graphic but have, for me, been a bit too much in the past. I remember reading quite a few negative reviews about it as well from previous seasons- I think it may have been the last one? Can't remember.

I don't know why watching two women having sex would be any harder to watch than two men, or a heterosexual couple. I think it's more important that they have chemistry than what sex they are. And as much as I love the show, I'm not sure any of them really have that kind of chemistry. Well, maybe Poussey and Soso. But I just found them a bit too lovey dovey together. Poussey on her own or with her friends seemed cooler.

And I went off Nicky a bit this season. Waited so long for her to return and then she seemed to have lost all her witty lines, and to have descended into parody a bit.
