I've always wondered how jaqan h'kar (not sure of spelling) ended up in the dungeons in KL in the first place, that's where he was when the black watch man who rescued Arya got him. Does make sense that he is Syrio and the guards didn't actually kill him, just put him in the dungeon and that's where he put JK's face on.

It's always seemed odd that a faceless man ended up in the dungeon, what do you think?

MUM theres a good youtube video showing just that theory, after the prisoners from KL are rounded up by the NIght's Watch guy. (Actor who used to be in Enders years ago).

IRC, Syrio was hired by Ned to teach Arya to dance use a sword properly; he's from Braavos; he helps Arya learn to concentrate on the task in hand and momentarily forget distractions; and she killed Mervyn Trant in revenge for him, even though the Hound told her that Trant was a crap fighter.

We don't know much more than that, I think? How would him being alive change things in Westerosi??

If Syrio is Jaqen it means that Arya is even more significant then we realise and that he sought her out to be her master, BUT WHY?

I too had always wondered what the faceless man would have been a prisoner; off to see if I can discover this video.

Hope it's true, as I always hated that poor Syrio fought so valiantly but was killed as he only had a wooden sword.

Still not sure why too. But if it was true then you're right that Arya would be v important.

They're probably just playing us like The Walking Dead did with bloody Glen!

I met the actor who plays syrio in 2012, he is delightful. Would be good to see him again.

It does seem strange that Syrio was on Thronecast. Bit random unless they're nudging show watchers to remind them of who he is before he pops up again on screen.

If the Syrio/Jaqen theory is wrong, maybe someone else we've been seeing in Braavos will take their face off to reveal Syrio's... I don't believe he was killed by Meryn Trant and he's also a Many Faced God worshipper so it's plausible that he would end up back in Braavos and possibly then take an interest in Arya's training since he knew her from her younger years. Maybe he owes her a favour since she killed Meryn Trant for him? Maybe that translates into him helping her with the Waif?

Would love to hear him say the 'not today!' line to Arya as they fight the Waif! Either way, the Waif is totally going to add her face to the rest, I can't see her surviving.

I think Arya (or whoever it is with Arya's face) is playing with the Waif... tempting her to come and attack her by standing in clear view on the bridge, and then dragging bloodied hands around Braavos so there's a trail for her to follow.

I can't WAIT for Monday!!!

Wildlings sneak down South of the Wall occasionally - Mance did it a lot while disguised as a minstrel.

To get to Bear Island you wouldn't even has have to cross the Wall, you could sail.

So what would this mean in terms of the story? Is Lyanna just representing her mother at this stage or is she reigning Bear Island in her own right? Would this discount her claim? Who is her dad supposed to be? Would it enable Jorah to rule?
