I also think Cersei is the total opposite of the traditional female.
In fact, I'm pretty sure in the book she constantly thinks to herself she'd make the best Lannister son if only her teats didn't get in the way

It's very lazy. Ooo Yara's a strong confident woman who takes no shit. Must be a lesbian.

Dany's a strong confident woman who takes no shit. Must be insane.

Cersei's a strong confident woman who takes no shit. Evil and incestuously in love.

What about Olenna?

It still cracks me up when she speaks about getting her husband

In the books however both Cersei and Dany have sex with women.

Olenna cracks me up. I do like her. She'd get my vote for Queen of the Iron Throne. Loved how she dressed down Margery's septa?/nun type sadist this week.

Chuckling now at pompostuous armour Mace? was wearing and his speech the other week....

What women do they shag?

I'm not saying they don't I literally have no recall.

Servants whose names I forget. Cersei's scene is unsurprisingly nasty and exploitative. Dany is with one of the Dothraki handmaidens I think and is complicated.

The dothraki servant in the book teaches dani sex so she can stop Drogo taking her like a horse

Dany's is either Irri or Jhiqui.
Cersei is with Taena Merriweather and her 'Myrish Swamp'

So why not do one of those scenes I the show?

Was that Doreah? Who taught her before her wedding? I can't remember

Can't remember her name. I was a bit surprised in the first series the TV makers had passed up the opportunity for lesbian sex that was in the book, but instead put in that god awful gratuitous littlefinger bordello soliloquy

The Dothraki hand maiden teaches Dany to go on top - i.e. Not just doggy style with Drogo. She's shown giving a practical lesson 😉 She ends up shut in the vault that can only be opened with a pendant along with the merchant who betrayed Dany (Dany found them in bed together when she stormed into his chambers). Played by an annoying actress from Hollyoaks who can't act, I think

Cercei would have made a good son, of course, but I said she was typically feminine because

• she uses brains not brawn (doubt she'd know what to do with a broadsword)
• she uses her looks (which are being eclipsed by Margaery)
• her children are all important to her

How about yara and dany getting together as a power couple?

GRRM has said the ending will be 'bittersweet' I take that to mean most people are dead, maybe all of them, some big sacrifice.
The only survivors are Nymeria and the massive wild wolfs.
So Westeros is now wolf territory, and Nymeria stalks Winterfell, so now there will always be a Stark in Winterfell.
Or actually it's only the creatures of the sigils that live.
Fish happily jump in lakes in river run, krakens and squids in the iron islands, lions running around casterly Rock and lannisport.
Dorne can maybe have a nice painting done before it all kicks off and peg that to a spear, randomly standing in the desert ala the lamppost in lion witch and wardrobe..

Olenna Funnily enough, Cersei wanted to learn swordfigting. In the books they are described as identical with Jaime. So they spent days in each other's clothes, but once Cersei started to mature, they had to stop and did not allow her into the practice yard.

Cersei thinks she's Tywin come again.
Doesn't Tyrion observe that it's funny she thinks that, because Tywins temper is ice, whereas Cersei's temper is unadulterated wildfire!

A belated Google informs me that the handmaiden Dany had a relationship with was Irri. Not the prostitute who taught her "technique", this was much later, after Drogo's death.

Sorry for subject changing but I'm happy with this Arya theory. No SPOILERS per say but you may want to avoid more speculation esp as I didn't clock the wall scene in nxt weeks trailer.

Phew! I've been away and only seen this week's episode tonight. Then I had to read this whole thread and it's waaayyyy past my bedtime!

Anyway, Cersei despises other women. It is known.
