Phew! We're all feeling a bit post-coital. Come, pull up a bar stool, down a Jizzy Athos and flail with us over Aramis in his navy monk robes.

Pfft - wrong naked men, writers.

Oh look - the monks are made of bread... and stone...

Oh FFS - Luke, if you're trying to lie low, don't yell "ARAMIS!!!!!!! THE BANDITS, THEY'RE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" across the forest.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/06/2016 11:45

And bye-bye Inexplicable Irishman - it was fun listening to your random Irish accent in France. Still, The baddies were random Scots last season so... Can't trust these celtic nations obviously ;)

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 11/06/2016 11:54

Arf at inexplicable Irishman

Merry Sexmas wenches, I'm going to decamp to the other thread. See you all there.

FancyFancy · 11/06/2016 11:56

Good idea re the marking onlyboy - priorities. You need to be ready for tonight.

D'you think that if they'd made s4, we'd have got Welsh baddies helen?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/06/2016 11:59

Awww, manly hugs with Trev, and a snog for Dog & Connie
Dog: "Did you miss me?"
Connie "Er.. no actually piss off to war again would you."

And now Feron's being all snidey - Athos displays Grade 1 smirking skills while Porthos tries out his best 'can I punch him?' face, and Aramis removes his gloves to give Feron a good slap.

Right, I've written one report:

Athos is showing enormous promise in a range of activities. Horse-riding, sword-fighting and scarf-wearing are all coming along nicely, and I am particularly impressed with some of the views he has expressed in our discussions on feminism in Politics. However, I am afraid that he has fallen in with a rather disreputable group of friends which has led to some unedifying displays of scrapping in the playground. He appears to be something of a ringleader of this group, who look up to him, and he needs to be careful to use his powers for the good. I would also encourage him not to be quite so obviously disrespctful when listening to his superiors: more than one teacher has commented on his expressive eye-rolls and - side-eye, I believe the modern term is!

When he wants to be, Athos can be an absolutely charming young man, and I would encourage him to develop this side of his personality and not lissten quite so much to the promptings of his inner demons.

I'm afraid this is how I feel about the football, BTW.

Aramis has had a rather uneven couple of years. He has made tremendous progress in all his classes, especially musket-firing in which he is regularly top of the class. He is also setting the standard to which the others can only aspire when it comes to the styling and grooming of one's facial hair. He is a very popular and well-liked young man with a ready smile and a quick sense of humour. He is courteous and chivalrous, always ready to defend those who are being bullied, but also has a developing appreciation of feminist ideology.

However, he is clearly deeply conflicted about his identity at the moment. Initially, I had concerns about the ease both with which he can be led astray by his friends (a rather direputable group, I am afraid, with a tendency for brawling in the schoolyard) and distracted from his studies by the young ladies in the class. More recently, however, he has shown an intense interest in Religious Studies and Philosophy. While this is not in itself alarming, it has led to him shutting himself away from the wider world and isolating himself from his friends, which I fear cannot be healthy in the long run. I would encourage him to seek a more balanced approach to life, and a resumption of the vigorous exercise programme which proved a good outlet for his emotional energy previously.

Wenches, I am back & I promise to try harder. I will be watching live & in here after. I'm very very sorry & I still LYA. Just not enough hours in the day to fill with the crap of life.

Oh yes. Liam Hemsworth in Graham Norton. WOULD!!!! How old is he then? not that I give one shiny fuck

FancyFancy · 11/06/2016 15:34

onlyboy, those are completely fantastic, bravo! Grin

Well, I have watched ep1 of Versailles. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but I think the slating it received had lowered my expectations. Got a bit pissed off with the jumping around in time re: the palace itself & there is a lack of FAFness. Probably Marchal is the only one I'm even slightly interested in (if I forget about the violence & torture). Louis can be quite charming, but doesn't look the sort to administer a good hard shag. Grin

LetUsPrey · 11/06/2016 17:31

No idea Sparks but we can double date with his brother Grin

Am partway through ep2 of Versailles. It's improving. There's a bit against a wall that made me go a bit wibbly. I like his brother (Phillipe?). I think it's the chap who played grown up Mordred in Merlin.

ApricotCrush · 11/06/2016 17:56

Excellent OnlyBoy. Grin

Well, I've rewatched Ep1 of Versailles and I like it much better now, in fact I'm really into it. I think the shock element put me off first time around.

Interesting article about the historical accuracy.

I know the bit you mean LetUs. Wink

Despite joining the class after everyone else, I have been delighted with how rapidly D'Artagnan has made progress. His musket-firing and sword-fighting is such that he has not only been able to hold his own against the best in the class, but he has also found the time to teach others. Such generosity of spirit is to be applauded. He has quickly settled into the group - at times, I worry a little too quickly, given the enthusiasm with which he adopted their code and entered into the all too frequent scrapping with the other classes which breaks out now and then in the playground.

In relation to this, I must sound a note of caution: there are times when D'Artagnan has proved to be rather more hot-headed and impetuous than is wise. He has been known to rush into situations without pausing to ask himself - or indeed his elders and betters - whether this might be the best course of action. On a couple of occasions, this has resulted in detention. I know he is an ambitious young man, and he would be wise not to let his heart rule his head so completely.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 11/06/2016 18:00

This is SO much more fun than writing the actual reports I am supposed to be writing.

One lot of wenches starting the livewatch on this thread, and another lot starting it on the new thread. And each group commenting, "Where is everyone?"
