Ds2s teacher approached me at lunchtime and told me she wanted me to know that ds2 had "done very well" in his year 2 sats 😊
Then when ds1 got home he had a letter from the deputy head thanking him for his help when some visitors came to his school and he got some school points 😊

Yes it's lovely esp as we never hear anything re school from ds1! So kind of the deputy head to do this...I'm sure she has more pressing jobs! This is actually the second time she has written ds1 a personal letter. It is very much appreciated.
Re: ds2 I have no idea what that means wrt sats. Just glad he is doing ok.

I still haven't watched Fancy. DH asked what I wanted to watch last night. "Let's watch Versailles" I said. So we sat down and he said "Agents of Sheild, or Blindside?" FFS

I'm with Madame, I enjoyed Versailles. Ep 2 was a big improvement, very powerful at the end.

It's good that money is being raised for Tom's charity, but I've never liked that portrait of him. It makes him look harsh and soulless which he's not. I know someone who can do much better.

So... yesterday morning I came downstairs to a rabbit being disemboweled (stupid cat being a very efficient hunter). This morning is was a random stomach, a dead (headless) mouse, and a pile of cat vom (including the missing mouse head). Lovely. And Inconvenient cat yowling his head off and demanding food - so I'm guessing the mouse and vom was him.

Tomorrow morning I am not getting up first, which mean there will be no little presents waiting for DH when he gets up.

Madame I know the feeling - I was updating LinkedIn and needed to update how many years experience I have in xyz Eeek!

It's my day off and just done a workout, sat down to catch my breath before a shower and flocking channels, happened on them showing the schedule for this morning so channel hopping stopped! Shower done and ready for the lusciousness to begin (excruciating wait for many reasons, urgh daytime telly yak)

Ooooh, there's a very convoluted (and closed) Rota for Aramis - good luck with that one - I'm sure someone will be along to explain it shortly. The Dog queue is small, but enthusiastic. Athos doesn't have a queue - it's more of a scrum Porthos wenches have vanished

I am working from home though not near the TV - that's in with DH and he has cricket on while he works from home..
