Hodor's face at the end Sad Summer's yelps at the end Sad

I thought there were 4 Whitewalker leaders. I remember Jon destroyed one with his sword and now Meera has speared and destroyed another but there still appears to be 4 left? Confused.

MashesToPashes · 23/05/2016 21:32

Well who is she really married to? Grin Grin Grin

Poor Hodor's big, soft, kind face though...

BrienneAndTormund · 23/05/2016 21:34

But Sansa is already married to...oh never mind.
Hodor's face at the end broke my fucking heart. When they claw at his face and he just looks so bewildered but keeps holding the door Sad

MaterofDragons · 23/05/2016 21:37

I know, this killed me Sad

scarletmonkey · 23/05/2016 21:44

Hodor Sad that was awful. His whole life was leading to that moment.

I don't know what is going on with Sansa, I'm not sure I like her a great deal to be honest, even from the start, she was just so "meh" compared to Arya.

fukkigucci · 23/05/2016 21:45

(I thought I was so smart, posting my Sanda/Tyrion comment. Sniff)

Vixxfacee · 23/05/2016 21:48

I cried.

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 21:51

Awwww, sorry gucci twasnt aimed at you specifically. It's the 5th Thrones thread and someone has brought it up on EVERY thread...

But Sansa was ALREADY married to Tyrion and then I post various explanations about why each marriage is dodgy.

  1. Tyrion

Not consummated. Took place only before New Gods. No male of her family consented.

  1. Ramsey

Technically already married to Tyrion. Arranged by Littlefinger who is merely her aunts widower and not a male of her house. Did take place before Old Gods and was consented to (what choice did she have though?) and consummated (Westeros stance on marital rape unclear)

HTH Grin

Rewatching.

I'm not crying YOU'RE CRYING

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 22:04

Got a clear picture this time.

Summer didn't register first two times because I was watching in daylight, ironically Sad and the picture was too dark.

Kind of a crappy death for Summer. Are the direwolves CGI just too expensive?

Wylis becoming Hodor fit is just too brutal for words

NeedACleverNN · 23/05/2016 22:04

Crikey that was shocking....

One question...why does the night King want the blood Raven and bran so much?!

GinaBambino · 23/05/2016 22:08

God I'm actually sobbing at that ending. Worse death on GOT. I didn't even cry this much at all when Jon was stabbed. So how many direwolves have we got left? I'm haunted by that ending, I don't even remember what else happened!

NeedACleverNN · 23/05/2016 22:09

Two dire wolves left

Nymeria and Ghost

Shaggy dog might be alive if the Ramsey thing is a con but at the moment he's thought to be dead

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 22:12

So.....

The Children Of The Forest made the White Walkers as the Andals (Men generally) were killing them so to protect them from MAN

It all got a wee bit out of hand..... SLIGHTLY

Bran the Builder (ancestor of Starks) built the Wall to keep them out and both TCOF and Wights passed into Legend.

If they can take down the Wall they can kill MAN of which Bran is one.

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 22:13

If there's more to it, North will be along with the encyclopaedia shortly Grin

Equiem89 · 23/05/2016 22:15

I found that so upsetting.
Jamie should have pushed Bran harder off that wall

RJnomore1 · 23/05/2016 22:18

Oh my

Oh my my my

Right I don't get the white walkers. There are two classes yes? Leaders who appear to be sentient and cannon fodder zombies ? And we saw the night King being created - but how are the other sentient ones created? By him? By the children of the forest? Why are some sentient and some mindless? Do we have any idea?

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 22:18

I've watched it THREE times

I still can't work out if Bran Stark who warged into Hodor is pretty much dead and has essentially died with Hodor and "Bran's body" is Bloodraven now

so Isaac will be playing Max Von Sydow as Bloodraven inside the body of Bran Stark if that makes sense??

OP posts:
Alisvolatpropiis · 23/05/2016 22:19

God I was not prepared for that.

What I got from tonight's episode is - Bran is to blame for everything and it really would have been better if that assassin Joffrey hired had been more successful.

SuffolkNWhat · 23/05/2016 22:21

Oh god those onion chopping ninjas have crept in to my house again.

Blood of my blood for next episode is a very Dothraki saying, I reckon it's going to be a Dany heavy episode with a bit of Sam & Marg thrown in.

EverySongbirdSays · 23/05/2016 22:21

Branception

North will be able to explain Walkers and wights I'm sure

Well we saw Hodor dying but not actually dead. Maybe Bran manages to pop out just in time

ILikeToClean · 23/05/2016 22:23

I watched first thing this morning but still can't stop thinking about the sickening sensation I had when the words hold the door morphed into Hodor - it really was heartbreaking. Most other deaths have been shocking wtf moments but this was just so sad.

Enjoying all your Sansa theories!

On a much lighter note - I loved Tormund's gormless grin at Brienne and her eye roll - one of the funniest moments ever - don't think we've seen him smile before Grin

TheNorthRemembers · 23/05/2016 22:25

Robb accepted that Sansa's wedding was valid, and he was head of House Stark.

Just watching. Why do we expect Littlefinger to know about Ramsay's true nature if Sansa did not know? Ramsay was virtually unknown outside the North (still is) until he killed his first wife. Ramsay is bastard son of a minor lord in the North, who had a legitimate heir as well. Ramsay was not brought up in the Dreadfort either. Why would Littlefinger know him? Sansa was brought up in the North. All their bannermen were in and out of Winterfell all the time. The kids had to learn all about their bannermen and their families, all the gossip. Tyrion even remarks later how good Sansa is at paying attention to people, remembering their children's name and chatting to them.

Go Yara!

RJnomore1 · 23/05/2016 22:25

Isn't blood of my blood something drogo used to say to Dani? Isn't he due to appear too?
