I'll check it out! I do remember him being in an episode of Simon Amstells 'Grandmas House' where he was all shy and murmery!

I first came across him when I saw him in Spring Awakening about 7 years ago. He was excellent and won an Olivier award, as did Aneurin Barnard who played the lead. Shortly after that he was cast in Misfits.

I managed to miss seasons 3&4 so am desperately catching up on Sky go before they take them away, and am also rereading the books, so I'm quite game of thrones immersed at the minute!

He's brilliant in Misfits. Great series, by the way, if anyone needs anything to watch between Monday and Sunday!

Our DS is named after his Misfits character.

Waiting for next episode of GOT means I wish the weekend away and look forward to Monday!

Iwan Rheon had one of the best storylines in early Misfits they made a right hash of it unfortunately.

Robert Sheehan was my favourite too - the bowling alley episode had me in absolute bits as well as :

Go DarkStark!!!!!! (they could definitely improve on the Darkstar - I am of the night storyline)

I am very impressed any of you remember the storyline of Misfits. Actors with beautiful eyes like Robert Sheehan, Iwan Rheon, Theo James and Colin Morgan always totally distract me when they look at the screen and I miss what is being said Blush

Has any of you seen Love/Hate with Robert Sheehan, Ruth Negga and Aidan Gillen? Mind you Aidan Gillen will always be Mayor Carcetti from The Wire for me.

Love/Hate was a big RTE series wasn't it? It still hasn't been shown anywhere else to my knowledge?

Aiden Gillen's accent is always all over the damn show.

I didn't even know he was Irish when he did Tommy Carcetti, I don't get why he can't control it now.

He's in the new Irish film Sing Street it's very good.

I think the accent thing with Littlefinger is deliberate. Trying to show how he's trying to fit in seamlessy and be all things to all people. He's a bit of an onion, as one layer is peeled away and another character thinks they know him its revealed to someone else that its just another layer.

Genuinely not deliberate IMO it was the subject of much pisstaking a couple of series ago. Maybe filming 2 things at the same time? Used to happen to Jonathan Rhys Meyers a lot on The Tudors too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rickon turned out to be a bit of a shit. In the first book a point is made about how each wolf seemed to reflect the character of its master and later in the series several points are made about Shaggy Dog attacking people.

I think it would be much more interesting if they'd kept Rickon as a little boy - I know that they would have had to recast, but he looks older than Arya now.

I can just about cope with Bran hitting puberty, but I think the dynamic between Ramsay and a younger child would be much more interesting. There's definitely scope for Rickon to become darkstark though - I hope they go down that route.

I'm sure that I read somewhere that it was meant to be deliberate, but not sure if they're just saying that because of the pisstaking.

The accents are all over the place on GOT. Why do theon and Jon sound so northern? Robb stark wasn't that northern was he? Wouldn't the three boys have spent lots of time together growing up?

I would have thought that Aiden Gillen is an experienced enough actor to be able to control his accent though.

Yeah I think they made them "northern"because of both the area and to match Sean Bean it's a bit of a hodgepodge of origins in there though
