Been hailing since 7 am but the sun has just come out. Going up to the Lakes today for the last of my birthday presents. More eating!

Forgot to say but yesterday I helped somebody at work with a problem and then heard myself saying 'Well did it work?' Poor guy couldn't understand why I then had a fit of giggles.

Really sunny here too but DD wants to go to the local huge indoor play area that makes you lose the will to live after an hour, it gets packed so quickly, so that looks like what we'll be doing this morning

Last night I had a huge fan girl moment when Sam Heughan who plays Jamie Fraser/OL favourited a tweet I sent him about music. I had a mini squee to myself!!

I find myself saying phrases still ilove and it still makes me chuckle. When the kids are bring naughty and I've told them off, a particular favourite is 'what have we just learnt?'

We're out to some kind of children friendly place today. Quite frankly I really don't feel like it, I want time away from children. Hopefully I'll snap out of it.

My new cooker has just been delivered. It was worth paying a bit extra for a local company - one of the two guys who installed it was very easy on the eye and as I have such a small kitchen, I had to stand quite close whilst he was explaining the controls on it! Shame I had to put my glasses on though in order to see it all!

Oo check you out ilove. There's nothing like a bit of close proximity with a hottie. Hope you enjoy your new cooker.

We had a change of plan pix. DH took 2 kids out as a twin was being naughty so he stayed with me and we went to a little park down the road. I know what you mean about not wanting to be around a load of kids.

Just finished what seems like my 5th load of dishes today..we desperately need a dishwasher.
