Wasn't he in the newspaper last week - apparently he started seeing Sheridan Smith when they were both in The C Word and according to reports he got really angry and argumentative with her and they broke up.

There seems to be a few ex-soap actors, Paul Nicholls, that girl from Corrie and Jamie from EE. I thought something more would become of that storyline looking into how he's coping with a new born baby and his partner dying - but they haven't shown him again.

Loved this first time round but not overly impressed this time. Who in their right mind would leave their mindees with armed robbery charged partner?! And Vicky midwife comments about the baby being quieter at the end of the pregnancy didn't like the way they portrayed the midwife with the surrogate baby either, basically telly intended dads to bugger off as baby and surrogate were staying in, not really her place to be dissuading the young girl, very unprofessional. Can't make up my mind if I'll watch again.

I have a feeling the blonde midwife will seek out the bereaved dad and something will happen there .

Paul Nicholls has had problems with drink and drugs. He is still very attractive but looks a bit bloated to me (hark at Kate Moss here ).

It is V predictable but I expected it to be. I really like Dev and Jasmine and I love the little comments that makes it a tiny bit more realistic like when Dev was trying to get the sticker off the window and was talking to himself saying 'it's really sticky' and then his convo with the ambulance driver 'sitting there eating your sandwich'

Having seen the actor who plays Dev in a few other shows I do have a soft spot for him.

Did you see Dev in that HR comedy /drama? I can't recall the name of it but he was great in that.

I did like Dev's reaction when they heard the second heartbeat on the scan.

This season is all a bit shambles really. Everything is incredulous and ridiculous, yet highly predictable. We all knew the child minding licence would be revoked, that the surrogate mum would be thinking about changing her mind, the one of the dad's would have a wobbly during labour, that Hermoine's character would get herself in a mess between her two lovers and that the twins would be okay. It's all so obvious as you're watching it.

Whoever described Hermione Norris's "Sardonic air/murmuring voice" - hah! Spot on! Perfect!

I like it when she does her whispery murmury thing before walloping a baddie and and shoving them off a highrise building.
