Other one massive!

What was that about Jackie's parents coming into the house?? What were they like?

Shilpa, awful, horrible stuck up woman. Must go. Leo, slimy, up himself, childish. Must go.

Didn't watch last night. Fill me in!

OP posts:
ledodgy · 14/01/2007 19:46

Ahh yeah but they way I saw it that's how she wanted to appear to look iyswim she is an actress. That doesn't justify the bullying though I agree but she still gets on my nerves. When Jackiey (I hate that spelling) left she tried to make out like she was upset over what as said before she went covering her head with the pillow I reckon she was smiling under that pillow.

gingermonkey · 14/01/2007 19:49

I love that spelling. Is that Jackie with a Y or IE? Oh, it's with both!!!!

seasonscheatings · 14/01/2007 19:58

We all look how 'we want to appear to look' don't we? I mean why would we look how we don't want to appear to look? Thats not acting thats just being. As for whether she was or wasnt crying, at least she had the decency to remove herself from the haters rather than join in with miss piggy acting up about how she needs to look after her mum.

Personally, i'd find it hard to stifle a laugh at Jackyuck, after what that demented woman put her through.

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 20:03

I disagree about Jade acting up she was worried about her mum far as I could see. Yes Jackiey was a nutter but that isn't Jade's fault and I think the loud tears etc are just how Jade is. I've watched quite a bit of the live feed and from what I have seen Shilpa seems false. I agree the others should not be bullying her as there is no excuse for this and they are making themselves look very two faced and it's embarassing but I do find Shilpa irritating and bossy.

seasonscheatings · 14/01/2007 20:21

OMG Shilpa is irritating and bossy? But Jade is what, compassionate and liberal? Did you not see her in Whiskey gate, telling a 60 year old man that she would take his whiskey if he didnt give her half, after guzzling the drink that was allocated to her. And then even after she got it, saying 'are you a fu*king alcoholic'? Poor guy has had a very traumatic life. Oh yeah, 'that's just how jade is'.

Well i know who I'd rather my dd emulate. Shilpa stands for decency and strength and our impressionable young girls would go alot further in life with a role model like her, rather than the nasty kebab showing bully that is Jaded.

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 20:34

No. What I said was that I didn't think jade was acting up at that particular time when her mum left. I made no comment on how Jade is the rest of the time. If I had to choose who i'd want my dd to emulate out of that shower i'd choose Cleo.

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 20:34

JAde didn't want to drink the whiskey it was Jo who wanted the whiskey and jade went to ask about it

the girls were all in bed together but JO wanted it

I agree there should be no bullying

but shilpa is sooooooooo controlling

She won't let anyone in the kitchen and they all say they want to have a snack and then eat meal at 4pm but she won't let them eat anything and then she says they have to eat at 2pm

And so why should one person tell everyone else when they are allowed to eat

Also why should she then not allow them to eat beforehand

Even DIRK who didn't want to eat chicken was told well I will put it on the side big huffs so he decides to make tofu for himself

sexwannabe asks if she can help by making roast pots and is told yes she can but then dirk gets annoyed cos she wants to use the baking tray

IMHO they should choose a different cook each day rather than shilpa just cooking her version of the food

I like indian food but I also like english food and as there is 1 indian lady and more from usa and uk

why do they have to have indian slant on all the cooking????

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 20:36

I agree Kanga.

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 20:36

ie why couldn't the chicken be cooked like most of us on MN would cook it - ie roast it the usual way

brandy7 · 14/01/2007 20:38

how did she cook the chicken? i didnt realise she had appointed herself as headcook? il watch carefully tonight.

my mums had enough of it, she said its depressing cause all they show is the bitching and nothing funny. have to agree

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 20:45

She won't let anyone else cook

she gets stroppy if they disagree with her methods

She wanted to cook a whole chicken in about 40 mins iirc --- the chicken was out of date as well

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 20:47

she put loads of herbs and spices on it

ie so it wouldn't really taste of chicken iyswim

If I eat a roast a chicken I want to be able to taste the chicken flavour

Don't you?

brandy7 · 14/01/2007 20:51

oh i wouldnt have like that, just bog standard roast chicken for me

seasonscheatings · 14/01/2007 20:55

Ledodgy, i did not say that you did make a comment on how Jade is the rest of the time. That was my observation of Jade. And I said that, out of Shilpa and Jade, i'd rather my dd was like Shilpa. Care to answer who you'd rather have influence your daughter out of those 2?

RTKM, did Shilpa actually say no one is allowed in the kitchen? And if it is annoying them why not say that to her face instead of bitching behing her back? In India, cooking for people is considered good manners and the right thing to do. Has anyone actually told her they'd like to cook?

And as the allocated cook in my household, tea is at 5pm. Nobody tells me when they want to have tea. I cook it,I decide when it is.

seasonscheatings · 14/01/2007 21:05

Oh and RTKM, the fact that she wanted the whiskey for Jo is by the by. Its her method of getting it i was appalled by.

I dunno, this foreign muck Shilpa's cooking eh, all 'erbs and spoices. Why don't she roast it and everything and everything. Er maybe for the same reason that Danielle probably cant cook a curry.

Actually wasnt danismell going to roast a chicken until she realised she didnt know how to do. Oh well if the chickens out of date theres a pig in there I wish they'd eat.

I got to go. I can't reason with the unreasonable.

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 21:06

They ask if they can cook something and she says no I am cooking .............

Don't you remember carol talking about the ginger

she doesn't get the fact that there are more then just her in the house

even dirk was complaining that he didn't want chicken mixed into the dish and she went all huffy

Why should one person control what and when all the others eat

I am an adult and I have as much right as you do to cook and decide what people eat

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 21:11

Seasonscheatings In answer to your question I wouldn't like either Jade or Shilpa to have any influence over my dd.

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 21:17

Just watching it now and Shilpa has just reminded me of something yesterday Jade accused her of patronising her but didn't say it right Shilpa said 'it's not patronising (or whatever jade had said) learn your vocabulary woman'.

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2007 21:19

Agreed

Whizzz · 14/01/2007 21:22

this task looks funny!!

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 21:22

Sorry I should have said that Shilpa said 'I am not patronising ' before she said that.

strawberri · 14/01/2007 21:44

Oh me oh my !

I used to have recurring nightmares about the antiques boy, cotton haired.........now they'll start all over again!!!!!!!!

Please, no.

Jermajesty, hee hee... funnier still if you put the stress on the first syllable.

See?

AitchTwoOh · 14/01/2007 22:08

wow, sometimes i think i'm watching a different show. amazed to find myself sticking up for shilpa again, but when dirk got grumpy about the chicken noodles i honestly thought that she looked a bit scared and said that she would leave the chicken on the side without any trace of huffiness at all.

and was that danielle 'acts like a child' lloyd, complaining of being spoken to like a child?

ledodgy · 14/01/2007 22:10

I can't stand Danielle. Intrestingly though when she was in Miss World she was in the merseymart our free local paper saying how she's beaten the bullies now with a story about how she was bullied at school. She obviously hasn't learnt much from that experience.

turquoise · 14/01/2007 22:11

I'm watching the same show as you Aitch. Thought the same about the chicken.

Good to know that according to Jade, so long as "you don't get your minge out" when you're drunk, then any other malicious, racist outrage is fine. Really, why hold back?
