Ah yes ice , let's face it orph doesn't need much make up to look like an old nag, but flattening my stomach into an old leather saddle shape was above and beyond I can tell you. Texture was easy to achieve after 30 years of heavy sun worshipping, but shape was hard work if you knew the usual shape of my arse However, the benefits were immeasurable and I do feel well and truly ridden and indeed saddle sore

RE: Eurovision rich I heard it played on the radio the other day and only realised part way through that it was our entry - so I'm guessing that was a good sign as I didn't really notice it was 'eurovision' sounding. The problem is that no one in Europe likes us anyway. Still I'm girding my loins for another live Eurovision chat thread including the semi finals. It adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the proceedings (should I repeat that in English as well just to get in the spirit?)

Dare I say it Rhu but I saw our Eurovision song on the GN show and I quite liked it. The two boys are very One Direction-ish which should appeal to the girlies and I'm tipping it to do well not that I'm an expert as I haven't watched Eurovision since Johnny Logan the first time Nowhere near as dire as some of our recent entries but can't see it beating the naked man with the wolf from Belarus unfortunately. I'm tipping top six

A naked man with a wolf!!! That simply isn't playing fair. How can anyone compete with that Darts? I'm still rather partial to the Russian Grannies entry a few years back and there were also some suggestive milkmaids last year. What hope have two clean-cut looking lads got against that!

On a serious level I hope the song does ok because it's a respectable entry and there have been some rule changes again this year for voting and apparently they get to perform it live in one of the semi-finals even though they don't have to qualify. Oh dear, sadly sounding as if I care a bit here but it's been an annual weird treat for us for as long as I can remember - just to echo a few acting lovies - ah dear, dear Johnny!! After all 'What's another year?'

DH has his significant BDY party the night of Eurovision so I won't be part of a watch along, but we might have an Abba, jake and josh, music set!

The furniture restorer came last night and quoted £235 to do the chest. Eeeeek.
