Thank you for the kind words ladies and big thanks to kuia for laying down the challenge of where Molly has gone for S2 and encouraging my lunacy. Ditto to SPO coming back to us and bringing more madness to the ff. You can have coffee and walnut pix as long as it fits in a trouser pocket as snug,y as battenburg.

I'm so behind with reading the ff offerings myself so hope to catch up now kids are back at school.

Today is the first day with no kids / no work / no husband - so I shall read through the thread later....but just wanted to say hello - the tanks are rolling out on the plain (not a euphemisms) and I just wanted to pop Elvis up for everyone's delight/ consumption and pleasure ....

Hmm we've moved from a look of John Denver to a touch of John Lennon there tartsy but he still butters my parsnips very easily

Hope everyone's well.

First chance I've had to get on since I've been away. Came back to washing, ironing, other jobs that needed doing before kids went back to school.

Had a fantastic time. I think I drank and ate my body weight in cakes/meals/alcohol. And not in that order. Absolutely love York. Me and my friend got lost a few times as all the old streets look the same. Betty's Tea Rooms was so busy. We got in on Sat afternoon for afternoon tea but Sunday was packed there so we left it. The bars were pretty good. I put quite comfy boots on, on the night time so we were still drinking merrily at 2.30 in the morning! I had some Koppaberg away woof. Its pretty nice. It comes in a large bottle though so it takes a while to drink it. But it was lovely sitting down watching the river during the day outside without kids. Anyway, back to reality now and school runs and chaos!

Congrats to your SIL mads. Wow that was a quick birth!

pix I managed to watch episode 1 of OL. Great acting by the main three. Can't wait for the next one.

Glad you had a good child-free weekend kel they're the best kind. And Koppaberg is indeed moreish - just ask my middle DS who had it ozzing out of his pores last week like an apple scented aftershave with a hint of sweaty socks
