Weeps

Say it's not so, Tristan! If only they had let him dress in not very much better. Sad

Nickel45 · 08/03/2016 21:21

Thank you for the birthday wishes for DS, he had a fab day, and is now feeling very grown up! Bless!! Although did wonder why he gets all the presents when I went through all the pain! So treated myself to lunch out!!!

pix and mads hope you are feeling better xx

pixieg1rl · 08/03/2016 21:37

Treating yourself to lunch sounds ideal to me nickel.

Now well into outlander 2 book. Finding it a lot more compelling than 1st one, probably because I want to know what happens

Ilovelblue · 09/03/2016 08:09

Morning all. Raining again here, what a surprise. Had an ex colleague round for tea last night so no time to post. She doesn't cook at all so anything you make for her gets a rapturous welcome. God knows how she survives! She'd had Weetabix the previous evening!

My elderly neighbour said there had been an ambulance yesterday at the house of the young couple who caused all the problems on Sunday night but he seemed a bit mixed up with other bits and pieces so not convinced I can take his word as gospel. Everyone else was probably at work so nobody else to ask. It was quiet last night anyway.

Ilovelblue · 09/03/2016 08:11

Love the Strictly gossip Rhubarb. Of the original dancers, there's only Brendan and Anton left I think?

Richtea19 · 09/03/2016 08:21

So wet here today. Our German boy is going to the shard today, not such a good view.

It's been hectic at home and I'm not really enjoying having our visitor. His English is not very good, my son hardly talks to him, therefore I'm waffling ! Our house is small so we are all on top of each other. Def the last year we do this.

I've finally got my holiday sorted from work so I have a week off to spend with DS down at Portsmouth while he is at work experience. Hopefully he will be ok for second week or DH can help!! So if anyone is about in that area w/c 4th July I'm about!!!

Shame about Tristian, although (ducking for cover) he was never my favourite. Now if it was Gleb there would be Twitter outrage!

MaddieMoo82 · 09/03/2016 10:04

Morning all. Stormy night and morning here, had to try and avoid all the wheely bins scattered all over the road when dropping DS off to nursery. Off work still but hoping to go back tomorrow.

richtea does your house guest go back Friday? Not to much longer till you can have your house back to normal Thanks

Debating watching either the first series of happy valley (I missed it first time round) or starting TNM Confused

KellyHb · 09/03/2016 10:12

Morning all.

I was laughing ilove when you were talking about your friend who can't cook, it sounds like me being grateful for any cooked meal but I can make more than just Weetabix Grin

Raining here. Think it's going to be raining all day. I've got 101 jobs to do but haven't got the energy to start them yet. I've been distracted by watching TV-eek!

Thanks rhu. To be honest I am leaning towards splitting them up. I asked them last night if they wanted to stay together and they said yes-bless.

Gutted about Tristan. I often wondered last season how much he was enjoying it esp with the marking of him and Jamelia controversy. He had a lovely smile.

MaddieMoo82 · 09/03/2016 13:55

Ooh I take it back about previously saying I wasn't sure about TH. Just watched 3 back to back episodes of TNM and he is very lovely. Oooh

Oh and I'm a regularly partaker in a huge bowl of musli for tea if I'm home alone Smile

pixieg1rl · 09/03/2016 14:17

I'm still very much in the 'no' camp for TH; enjoying the programme though.

Back to work today; work from home day so it won't be too knackering I hope. I hope you're having a restful day mads.

MaddieMoo82 · 09/03/2016 15:01

I was a no until he got to Spain and now certainly a yes! Grin
Succumbed to some tidying for an hour as couldn't sit looking at the mess! Hmm

Rhubarb01 · 09/03/2016 17:12

Afternoon - whilst doing my Tristan research I discovered his fans call themselves The Macmaniacs - I thought that was pretty good! Perhaps we could be The Captastics or something! I bet you've all got some fun suggestions.

I'm definitely in the TH 'yes' camp! This is getting a bit like the dreaded Euro question but a lot easier to understand and much, much nicer! I could spend most of the day making myself better informed on the subject.

MaddieMoo82 · 09/03/2016 18:53

I agree rhu! As with most things I should have waited to pass judgement on TH until I throughly investigated the matter, something I did very thoroughly this afternoon Grin

moojangles · 09/03/2016 18:56

Ladies, I am very much looking forward to catching up with TNM now

Nickel45 · 09/03/2016 19:57

I'm definitely beginning to see the appeal of TH, but only since he was tanned and in the sun! Still not entirely sure what is going on, but can't take the other TH seriously since he was in Rev!

icemistOBE · 09/03/2016 20:30

Evening. Been working past few days and falling asleep really early. Have been reading but not posting.

Having a large glass of wine as my working week is over.

Whenever I think of a group name I always think of SPO's Majorettes rhu Grin

KellyHb · 09/03/2016 20:59

Evening all.

I need to start watching TNM. I'm slacking on watching TV I've got on record.

I was just talking to my Mam earlier and she told me some bad news regarding my Dad's cousins husband who I call Aunty and Uncle (that's probably sounds confusing). Anyway I've always been pretty close to them even though they live miles away in Surrey. So my Uncle's been diagnosed with having a tumour in his liver in the past couple of days. He's awaiting news of treatment but he is 85 and not sure what options will be open to him at that age. But he's fab for his age and hopefully he'll get through this.

pixieg1rl · 09/03/2016 21:07

Oh, that doesn't sound good Kelly. Fingers crossed.

I have tasked MrP with researching summer holiday; so far a 10+ hour drive to the middle of the Scottish highlands on the last week of the holiday, and oh, can I drop him at the NEC on the way home and deal with everything by myself as he's got a trade show Confused.

icemistOBE · 09/03/2016 21:15

Watching Dunblane on bbc2. Tears streaming. So heartbreaking

OP posts:
MaddieMoo82 · 09/03/2016 21:19

Awww kelly sorry to hear that. Hope they can come up with some options for him Flowers

pixieg1rl · 09/03/2016 21:29

I can't watch that sort of thing ice. Just can't.

Got half an eye on Grantchester, they're running all over town and popping up in places they shouldn't.

moojangles · 09/03/2016 21:54

Sorry to hear that kelly
ice, I really can't do those programmes but I assume that those involved wznt their stories told and remembered.
Somewhat overwhelmed by work at the moment so tv and reading a weekend thing. DH off to the pub at the wknd for rugby eatching, so TNM and Outlander for me.pix, that sounds like man planning. No holidays for us this year, work on house and dh not able to get leave in summer hols, so it's gonna be day trips for us.
Can't think of an appropriate fan name yet without lurching into SPO zone!

KellyHb · 09/03/2016 22:03

Thanks ladies. Fingers crossed.

I don't we'll get a holiday this year but like you mooj we'll try and get some jobs done in the house too. Starting with getting a dishwasher!!

I've just remembered I'm looking after the parents cats for a couple of days starting tomorrow while they go to a friends memorial service in Lincolnshire somewhere. Its a bit of a hassle but I've done it for years so can't stop doing it now. ConfusedConfused

apsara03 · 09/03/2016 22:16

kelly sorry to hear your news. Had crazy busy day no tv tonight. Off to bed with outlander 2 book
