How's your headache ilove? I usually find stress gives me a headache like that. I get tense shoulders, and don't really notice until the headache starts. Are you off at the end of the week? If it doesn't clear before then I hope a few days off might work.

Evening all. Sorry been a bit absent as a rough few days with mini-mads. Barely any sleep last couple nights as he has been up and down with horrible temps but today looks like he has hand foot and mouth which would explain temps so hopefully he'll perk up now. Couldn't afford to take time of work as have to use annual leave (don't have any left) or unpaid so have felt like a zombie. Luckily mil and my parents have had him the last couple of days.
Today was topped off by loosing one contact lens 30 mins into shift! Amused colleagues with having to do everything with one eye closed!
Oh and the breast milk was in the fridge but had definitely been moved....

Aw, poor lad mads, I've had H,F&M and it's pretty miserable (caught it off DS). And poor you. Are you able to have him in bed with you (sleep deprived parent tip #1) to save you getting up all the time?

Big no from MrMads so I stayed his room on the floor last night hoping tonight might be easier. Does it follow the same form in adults pixie?

You've got the co-sleeping thing the wrong way around. If MrMads doesn't agree he can sleep on the floor/sofa. I always have MrP the choice, and he always agreed with me eventually. I'm only a when they're poorly or wet the bed co sleeper; I needed that time not attached to a child for my own sanity.

Ah mads sorry to hear you're having a rough week. I think I've mentioned on here before I've heard of foot and mouth in cattle but Id never heard of hand, foot and mouth? Hope things get better soon.

Its my Mam's birthday today. We were all supposed to have a meal out tonight but she's been losing her voice this week so we'll re-arrange for next week. Just come back from giving her her presents.

Lola loved the CJ as a teacher clip. He's so yummy! Clothes a bit odd though. Still think he could do with us to get him dressed!

I did get a fit of the giggles watching BA eat that ice cream. Wonder what made them pick an ice cream shop for their voice projection lesson? And like you Kelly, I wondered about being that ice cream spoon!

Been out with a friend tonight for a meal. The service wasn't great though the food was good. The waitress was a bit grumpy and patronising and the waiter in charge was as camp as a row of tents. I'm sure it was all put on. Nobody could be quite so genuinely effeminate as he was.

My headache has gone at last pixie. Thanks for asking. It lasted almost three days. When I went for my eye test (a coincidence, I booked it three weeks ago), the optician said she thought it was a migraine. I always thought you had to lie down away from the light but she said there are different grades and the fact I felt sick was a strong indication. Looks as if I am going to need varifocals (not exactly a surprise) and that little windfall I had yesterday will just go towards them! Did I say I got the money from selling some old cutlery of my parents? I saw an advert online last week and thought I'd try it out - it was all stuck in a cupboard gathering dust. Very surprised it realised so much cash!

I'm in work till next Friday then off to Majorca on the Monday-Friday.

ilove how lovely going to Mallorca. Just to feel sun in your body, bliss. We managed to book a holiday for the summer but ended up booking mainland spain again as we struggled to get something in Mallorca or Menorca.

lola the video is fantastic. The outfit is slightly Koreen Army "esq" ! But the spoon licking makes up for it big time.

German exchange student arriving today, so mass tidy up this morning. I'm a work this afternoon so DH is on collecting duty and then fish and chips tonight!

mads I've had HF&M from nursery back in the day and apart from mooing a lot and needing regular milking I've made a full recovery It's a bit of a bugger finding the right bra when you've grown six nipples but hey ho it's not as bad as the urgent need to suddenly always dress in black and white...

Got no kitchen workmen today, think I've exhausted all their goodwill or something so it looks like a trip to MILs to drop off a hastily purchased pot plant for Mothers Day then beat a quick retreat to prepare for CJs big installation visit next week. He's bringing his extra large screwdriver which should come in useful as Manu lost his servicing my plumbing last Wednesday. It was his own fault, I told him those leather trousers would not be any benefit when legs are akimbo screwing in extra tight nuts, but he wouldn't listen and promptly stuck it in too far We probably won't see that again for a couple of weeks til I reopen the curtains

Richtea is this the same German exchange student as previously or a new one?

Kelly if you'd been on this thread last May, you would know how CJ looked in a kilt in Edinburgh, though orphan and richtea's kilt measuring mentally scarred him for life!
