Wonder if they've started filming in SA already? Isn't Mansfield due to fly out this week, and has MK blogged/tweeted anything? I suppose they all fly at different times depending on when they are needed, maybe? Who knows! TGs been quiet of late, hasn't he? Guess he's very busy!!?

Lovely sunny day today here too, I managed to cut the grass,, churned up a bit but looks heaps better. I managed to get our bed linen on the line and iron, so I will be racing to get to bed tonight before DH!! I love the smell of clean sheets!

Thanks for advice the HR BK. I will call them tomorrow. He's just come back from his weekend away and is a miserable horrid tired child! The excitement I had for him yesterday as been stripped away by his utter rudeness! I could scream, bloody ungrateful child.

I hate the Sun newspaper but will check out the story!

Aternoon/Evening ladies. Nothing much to report here on Rhubarb's patch. Thank you for the comments on the story ladies.

I saw the article some of you have mentioned. It's always sad to see stuff like that in print. It annoys me that everything is always reported secondhand by sources. I expect there's some very small grain of truth in it somewhere but the press likes to blow everything up a bit like Chinese whispers with each version being more dramatic than the last. I guess the truth is that two young people probably weren't right for each other but it's all been played out in public as if we all need to know - and we really don't! As Pix says only they know the truth of it all and let's hope they both rise above it and say nothing. All I can say is I loved the dancing - shame about the rest of it for all concerned.

Looking forward to The Night Manager and CTM tonight. I have to confess that I didn't watch the last two episodes of War and Peace and I'm not that fussed - I prefer JN in Grantchester. Haven't watched Happy Valley but I hear it's plagued with sound problems and that drives me mad, so I'll give it it a miss. I've also got the last four or five episodes of Dickensian to catch up on but too busy to watch right now. I think I'm also finally succumbing to the bug that has been going around my office for weeks - great - plus my dog's got behavioural problems and it's like trying to manage a toddler - I don't need it!

Ah hope you feel better soon rhu. And the dog gets in a better mood. Sorry don't know anything about dogs. If it's anything like when ours boys were toddlers, their bad moods seemed to last forever.

Haven't seen TNM from last week yet. I'll watch it tonight and watch tonight's later on in the week.

rhu if you were going to watch them at some point, I would avoid the last episode of W&P if possible. I was nearly destroyed by how sad some of the bits were. I cried all the way through.

In the middle of bedtime routine/sorting school stuff out for tomorrow. Can't believe it's Monday tomorrow already!

I'm doing the same Kelly, bags packed, reading record updated, uniform relabelled, then my bag packed, clothes laid out etc. Monday's are my early start long working day, with the added bonus that we had a new carpet laid in the office over the weekend so I have to put my computer up and unpack my desk when I get in.

Evening all. DS a lot better now thanks, although we had a trip to out of hours yesterday when his temp refused to go down . There hasn't been a week since Christmas in this house when at least one of us hasn't been ill, having a shocking run at the moment!!

I'm another one packing for an early start tomorrow, plus eldest has a school trip so need to get his thermals looked out...

Hi, all. Have only just got my keyboard going again after I had a very sudden attack of severe pain followed by pins and needles in thumb and first two fingers of right hand. Seems to come and go, but very painful when here. Dr tells me it's carpal tunnel syndrome, will need surgery, getting it done April. Thank god for medical insurance.
Managed to get a new story done, even though hand hurt like hell. B.story wouldn't leave me alone!! Getting back to Sohail, who's yelling in my ear to get his story finished.
We seem to be getting same programmes as you. Night Manager started last night, have recorded it. Shetland finished three weeks ago. Think it was the same series as you had. Hope for NZBC yet!

Thick frost this morning. Shouldn't complain as apart from a half hearted attempt at snowing on Wednesday, it's not rained for almost a week.

Ouch kuia I've got a friend who had c.tunnel and said its the most painful thing in the world so and for a bit of respite til your op. Just keep re-playing TH in his pants on Night Manager as recommended by pix - that's great use of any spare time you've got

AT came early this morning and is making a great job of flattening my flooring; I should be able to stand up maybe by the end of today as he's such a perfectionist he wants to keep re-laying over and over again and I'm certainly not going to stop him

kuia loved your Hammers story :) I have a soft spot for WH, but unfortunately shouldn't say that out loud DH is an ardent Chelsea fan. Did manage to make it to Upton Park a few times though :) - when it still was Upton Park! Can't imagine how it's going to work at Stratford, but at least it's close - not like when Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes (!?!??!). Sorry to hear about the Carpal Tunnel, hopefully the surgery should sort it all out, and you recover really quickly (can you still type with one hand ).

Going to be an blimmin expensive week this week, Mam's birthday, car tax is due and MOT!! For some reason I hate spending money on the car as I think it's dead money.

DD is going on a school trip to Waterstones this afternoon. If I had babysitters for the boys, I could've gone too and bought the Outlander books!
