DS up in Castle Donnington this weekend for UK championships Cross Country, and today we had some excellent news that he has two weeks work placement at Lockheed Martin in hamps in the summer!!! Just need to find digs or b&b now! So proud though!! He has to sign the official secrets act!!

Had a nice day out with my friend (with the financial problems). I planned it so that we had a lunch at a lovely gastropub and then on a little further to a small market town on the edge of the Lake District - plenty of little shops but nothing much to buy. Pleased to report she bought nothing at all.

Rhubarb you sneaked a new chapter in there and I missed it. What a lovely treat to discover when I sat down earlier tonight. I know I've said it before but if you changed the names in that, I am sure it would adapt to television very well in its own right.

Great news rich about the work experience for DS. Try the hr team they may have info about accommodation. We have just heard that DS has got a graduate year in industry placement and they have offered it near to home rather than Manchester. Think he is pleased, as he wouldn't have been in student digs there, would have been another new thing to cope with!
Now off to a cub activity day...spent yesterday afternoon rolling and cutting out icing to make constellation biscuits, our theme is space and we have 14 minutes per base. Working with 8/9 year olds not long to achieve anything!

Sunny here but cold. Am amusing myself watching DH try to tidy up the garden shed but he won't throw anything away that's rubbish so he's having to somehow stick everything back in. Idiot.

pix I was briefly talking to my neighbour bout Amazon and he said you either need a Smart tv (?) Or download the Amazon app to a PS4 or tablet/laptop I think he said. But you still have to subscribe. That's all the info I could get as I had the kids in the car. I'll ring Amazon this week and see what they say and let you know. Would you be watching it on a laptop?

Morning. Quite sunny here and not too cold. Need to motivate myself to go out on my bike. It's been so wet and windy that I've only been out a couple of times on it since Christmas. Need to do it this morning as I have an afternoon tea later. A friend had a voucher given as a thank you gift but when we went, it was rubbish and she complained so this is the hotel's way of apologising.

I've got the dryer on constantly today but I could hang stuff out too as its so sunny.

I think the only people who know are the pair of them. In career terms this seems about positioning her reputation as she's just finished the strictly tour and moved down to London. If she can paint SW in a less sympathetic light then dumping him for someone else doesn't seem like such a terrible thing.

I think it's at shame if either of them start publicly flinging stuff about; I tend to admire those who keep their private lives private; these horrible papers just fuel this endless speculation when it's none of our business.

I've not ventured up the garden to the washing line kelly too lazy for that... Just plonked the airer on the patio!
