It certainly doesn't look like any cake I have ever had. Grin

MrsJamin · 17/02/2016 19:37

Although it might well win over that mishmash that the guy has made Confused

FelicityLemon · 17/02/2016 19:46

It's hard to say I wouldn't let either across the threshold

GrouchyKiwi · 17/02/2016 19:49

There are some parts of Sarah's room that look ok, but the cushions are awful.

Princecharlesfirstwife · 17/02/2016 19:50

That Sarah's so confident in her very underwhelming abilities.

Wolpertinger · 17/02/2016 19:51

DH has just announced Jamie's room is making him ill just looking at it Grin

Always knew DH was a man of taste Smile

TheSpottedZebra · 17/02/2016 19:53

Oh I searched back and Slummy is a sitting room in 3rd week of knockouts, so def not this one.
So that means I am free to say that I think both rooms are appalling.

The material pinned to the ceiling/wall is Student 101. And the rest looks like a clown, staying on an ashram, ate some shrooms and then vomited.

GrouchyKiwi · 17/02/2016 19:54

Imagine waking up in the hippy room with a hangover. The bedhead thing is brilliant, though.

TheSpottedZebra · 17/02/2016 19:55

I do like that Sarah has themed her jacket to her room -yellow geometics.

Attention to detail there.

TheSpottedZebra · 17/02/2016 19:56

Jamie is 21. 21!
Did they mention that?

GrouchyKiwi · 17/02/2016 20:02

I thought the right designer went through.

ppeatfruit · 17/02/2016 20:12

Well Sarah was the right winner. I'm not sure about her strange tie dyed chair with a belt round it????. Oh and her weird pouffe on wheels !!!

Why didn't Jamie hippie up the blind which was an odd 'straight' anomaly in the 'sari' themed room. I know that the 60s are coming back in a big way just you all wait Grin Grin

FelicityLemon · 17/02/2016 20:19

That belt looked like it would make the chair really uncomfortable by digging in your back. Perhaps though it's good for encouraging visitors not to stay too long.

ppeatfruit · 17/02/2016 20:21

Or even a spare if your trousers keep falling down Grin

FelicityLemon · 17/02/2016 20:28

DIY bedroom farce. Grin

Sad that Jamie did not get through.
Woud have been a big break for him. Working class lad caring for his blind Grandfather and working in a shop... Shame they did not give him a chance. Hope this leads to something for him .

Pipbin · 17/02/2016 20:52

Is it me or are most of the rooms dreadful most of the time?

Why do people allow them into their houses to do this?

SwedishEdith · 17/02/2016 21:22

Feel a bit sorry for Jaime. Hope he gets take on somewhere.

Can we talk about the '£100k house' on here as well (cba starting a thread about it)? I love this programme and would happily take on any of the ideas that Piers and pals suggest.

Pipbin · 17/02/2016 21:35

Was that on tonight?
For reasons I don't understand I don't have any TV here tonight so I'm catching up on house dross programs on iPlayer.

Pipbin · 17/02/2016 22:24

Watching the £100k house now.
I did love the old post office last week. That room was lovely.

I have just had to laugh at this one when him with the silly beard took them to see a house and pointed out how they have put a hole in the wall to join the two spaces together - or a serving hatch as we used to call them in the 70s.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 18/02/2016 00:14

Orange? Slummy said lots of orange.

But slummy has given the impression wasn't over keen on her orange room, Betty and her mum were over joyed that wasn't a forced ohh. Very nice thank you!

Either that or slummy is very good at acting!

ppeatfruit · 18/02/2016 09:07

Yes he was good but lacked the maturity to 'listen' properly to his homeowners. Tooty I liked what Sarah said about him. Also he's got the motivation to carry on now and improve.

MrsJamin · 18/02/2016 16:03

Yes imagine doing something like that at 21,loving it and getting great feedback? He can really start to plan a career in this now, as I think he had good ideas.

MeolsCop · 18/02/2016 22:12

I've finally caught up with this. Please, Jamie, knock off the wobbly stencilling. Not massively enthused about Sarah either, but I think her room rightly won out.

Just found this house for sale in the Marlow development. Gulp.
