I actually think Lucy has a bit of a voice problem going on, she needs to see a voice therapist.

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 10/02/2016 23:09

Where do you even buy trousers like that Grin

Samcro · 10/02/2016 23:23

Lucy's voice grated!

thank you. it ws annoying me so much

Stratter5 · 11/02/2016 00:43

She does that drawly fry thing, but it just sounds whiny on her.

cosmicglittergirl · 11/02/2016 07:54

8-9 would be better, I always have to watch on catch up too. Kids going to bed etc.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 11/02/2016 08:03

Quite liked both rooms this week but Lucy's homeowners practically designed it themselves, she just had to make what they showed her. I'm being really picky here....Grin

ggirl · 11/02/2016 08:06

I loved Lucy's room ..I wouldnt be able to get in that bed without bashing the fuck out of my shins

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 11/02/2016 09:09

Lucy had a great brief. The homeowners have been quite creative in there ideas. I agree about the shin scrapping bed, its perfect for a spare room.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 11/02/2016 09:09

*their ideas

iwouldgoouttonight · 11/02/2016 09:45

I think it should be on at 8pm and only half an hour. There is so much repetition, the first five minutes is identical each time and there are loads of the same shots shown over again.

I still enjoy watching it though Grin

absolutelynotfabulous · 11/02/2016 10:22

I don't think that bed was practical at all (lovely though). I'd be more concerned about ease of getting in and out, and how easy it is to change the sheets misses point

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 11/02/2016 11:16

That was what I thougth about the high bed too, absolutely. You need a stool to climb on - or you need to take a good run up and jump in, making sure not to concuss yourself on the frame of the bed!!

And there was no bedside table either. Nowhere to put a glass of water, bedside light, clock, book, tissues, antacids - any of the myriad crap I need by the bed!!

There was no light in the bed at all - so it would be difficult to read in there, and when you were ready to go to sleep, you'd have to climb out of bed, switch the light off at the door, and then mountaineer back into the bed in the dark! There's no way I could do that without injury!

cosmicglittergirl · 11/02/2016 11:38

They could fill the time with some more shots of the designers homes, what else they do etc. It's quite fleeting what we see of that.

absolutelynotfabulous · 11/02/2016 13:43

I thought I saw a hanging light?

GrouchyKiwi · 11/02/2016 13:49

I thought I saw a light in the bed unit as well.

Agree about lack of shelf or similar for the all important lip balm and hand cream, though. Unless it was hidden from view.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 11/02/2016 14:58

Maybe I am wrong (wouldn't be the first time Blush) about the light.

Davros · 11/02/2016 20:50

There was a light over the bed within the bed unit which I thought looked odd with the one just outside the bed unit. I think the paint finish on the bed should have been solid, not wishy washy

Here's the light above the bed, not very practical, surely you'd knock your head on it?

I love Sophie... I want to dress like her.

(Off topic)

GrouchyKiwi · 11/02/2016 21:52

I like her mix of colours and that she's brave enough to wear brightly coloured tights. I always want to but feel far too noticeable.

Davros · 11/02/2016 23:33

I used to wear those colours, and in a tight too, when I was a 17 year old punk

OTheHugeManatee · 12/02/2016 07:45

I think they add 15 minutes of filler to make it easy to cut for commercial channels with adverts.

absolutelynotfabulous · 12/02/2016 07:45

Her interior design "style" is colourful too. I quite like it (but I couldn't live with it). I agree on her wearing of colourful tights. She's growing on me.

Off point a bit, but is she an "item" with Daniel?

cosmicglittergirl · 12/02/2016 08:28

www.sophieanddaniel.com

This mentions Sophie's husband.

absolutelynotfabulous · 12/02/2016 11:07

Ah! I see I've drawn too many conclusions from the shared websiteBlush.
