I do like Lucy's room. Not very keen on the see-through paint though.

dillite · 10/02/2016 19:50

It looks very homemade. But then in that time it can't really look any other way. They would need 3 days just for the bed to do it right.

Cocolepew · 10/02/2016 19:51

Those upcycles are crap Hmm

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 19:51

Omg that table tower....! Who ARE these people!?

dillite · 10/02/2016 19:52

There's no space to play. But a child might love it.

GrouchyKiwi · 10/02/2016 19:53

Rupert Graves is gorgeous, Slummy.

I think it was supposed to look that homemade?

I think she did a great job, actually. It's too themey, but pretty.

Actually don't like Rob's room. The kid will love it, though.

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 19:54

That beds nice actually

dillite · 10/02/2016 19:54

My dd loves Rob's room. But she's 5.

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 19:55

I HATED Rob's last room.

The smurf one.

GrouchyKiwi · 10/02/2016 19:55

That kid drives me bats (hah!)

Stratter5 · 10/02/2016 19:56

AwfulBreton to go.

Please. I can't stand her voice, so whiny, so dull.

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 19:57

What about when that kid goes off Batman next week

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 19:58

And that room looks HALF the size now - where do the clothes go??

Cocolepew · 10/02/2016 19:58

Why is there Star Wars stuff in the Batcave? Confused

GrouchyKiwi · 10/02/2016 19:59

Grin Thomas

I am surprised that Lucy is through over Rob. Thought they'd go with consistency, but I suppose she did show progress in learning not to clutter the design.

Agree about her voice, Stratters.

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 20:01

Oh THANKS.

just remembered I paused for 5 mins earlier

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 20:02

She was the best of a bad lot this week.

carlajean · 10/02/2016 20:04

Agree about the voice as well! Plus I don't think she's good with clients. The judges said that her client this week was difficult to please. I thought the opposite

GrouchyKiwi · 10/02/2016 20:10

Ooops. Blush

OhShutUpThomas · 10/02/2016 20:12

Who needs clothes anyway. Kids are better off staying naked- less laundry to do.

I was surprised Lucy went through instead of Rob.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 10/02/2016 20:27

I would have sent Lucy home on the basis of the Pile-Of-Tables-Lamp - pile-of-crap-lamp, more like. She finished it off with blutack, fgs!

GrouchyKiwi · 10/02/2016 20:33

They didn't use them in the rooms did they? I thought they were supposed to make something for the rooms.

annandale · 10/02/2016 21:20

I think the pile of junk challenge doesn't have to fit with the rooms, it's to show your unfettered personality (poor idea for most people IMO).

I really liked Lucy's room because i love that look. Wasn't keen on the rugs though.

I just thought both of Rob's last two rooms were quite hard work to be in - I was feeling claustrophobic in that kid's room from the other side of a TV screen.

Watching for Daniel really

MrsJamin · 10/02/2016 21:24

Just finished watching it on catch up. Lucy's voice grated! Glad it wasn't just me. I think rob was robbed a little but the bat cave wasn't good on storage, Sophie's point about the big box was spot on ( you can tell she's a mum of a child a similar age!). Looking forward to next week. Annoys me it's on at 7-8, always have to watch on catch up as chasing the boys to their bedrooms.
