Morning all.

Sunny here today and quite warm actually. Makes a change from the howling wind.

Thanks pix mads you're tenner's are in the post. Smile Briefly talked to my neighbour this morning while she was on her way out to the gym looking all fit and toned while I was hanging on tightly to my McD's breakfast. Blush
I'm officially one of those people who pay for a gym membership each month but don't go! Oops. I'll definitely start going next week yeah right

Just looked at Milk Tray man. He's not bad but he's the double of my friend's dad. I could definitely imagine the new man in a M&S roll neck sweater.

mads does your DS enjoy nursery? Its not his first day today, is it? My memory is terrible at the moment. Nursery is great and it brought my three on loads.

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 10:23

woof just about to watch AT in that Agatha Christie thing from Xmas. I'm expecting big things even under the towel

Onlygirljen · 03/02/2016 10:28

New milk tray man not doing it for me at all, sorry!! Beardy SW gets the thumbs up. Silly Georgia, I'm sure it'll all end in tears.

Going to try going back to work tomorrow - am still totally knackered but feeling bad about leaving my colleagues with even heavier workloads than they usually have Confused. Hate being off sick, always makes me feel so guilty!

Good luck with nursery mads! My eldest started about 9 months and had a brilliant nursery experience. Having the opposite experience with youngest, who started at 3, but screams and cries every time he goes near the place - can't help but think we should have started him younger like his brother.

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 10:28

Thanks for reminding me about That Towel kel just when I was getting a calmness in my nut you go and bring the vision back to the forefront of my mind, sigh. Ah yes, sausages for tea I think Wink

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 10:49

Indeed woof. Thinking about meat and 2 veg for my tea now too. Not sure about spotted dick for dessert though.

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 11:06

Hmm now those pics have resurfaced I think a Cumberland Ring is in order. Spotted dick defo off the menu kel I'm opting for rolypoly and plenty of custard...or even squirty cream if there is a god

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 11:19

I think going to go for the cream horn option woof.

Richtea19 · 03/02/2016 12:01

Milk tray man isn't doing it for me either, but AT pictures are!!!! Thanks woof that's brightened up my dull day of flicking an inch of dust off everything in doors. Why does my house get so filthy?? Half of me wonders why I bother as it just settles again!

rhu sorry you're feeling glum. I usually find this time of year a bit depressing but meeting the OG group last week really made the month!

kelly I'm trying to get back to the gym but it's just so boring, the only thing that motivates me is the coffee afterwards!

mads hope all goes well with the nursery. Smile

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 12:23

Yes Rich there's not many things better than AT in a towel to brighten your day, esp if you're in the wiping round mood. My downstairs could do with a damn good bottoming and that towel's just the thing to do it at present Wink

MaddieMoo82 · 03/02/2016 12:38

Ah thanks all for the messages. Was Ds first time today and just for 2hrs. 1 hour with me there and 1hr by himself. To be honest it wasn't great. For the hour I was there he screamed for 55 mins of it and when I left they said was fine till another toddler came near him then he screamed Confused ah well he's going again Friday so fingers crossed for a slightly happier baby!
Soup for lunch but all don't think it will cut it with all this talk of meat and 2 veg and Cumberland rings Smile

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 12:38

It is really boring at the gym, isn't it rich. If I didn't take my headphones with me, it would pretty bad.

I've got lots of ironing to do and I could do it now if I wanted but I'd rather sit and look at half naked pics of Jamie Fraser on t'internet. Shock

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 12:42

Don't worry mads. The first time's always the worst. It will get better. Smile

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 12:57

Sure it'll be fine mads it's all very new to him but he'll soon realise they're friends not enemies. The nursery will usually let you phone for half-hour updates if you're worried, so don't bottle up any anxieties you might have, discuss it with them. We've all been there and nursery is fully experienced in dealing with worried mums Flowers

I'm off to let ATs towel give my upstairs a good going over next Grin

MaddieMoo82 · 03/02/2016 13:07

Thanks woof and kelly I'm sure it will be fine, he just certainly pulled on the guilt strings today Confused

Enjoy your towel rub woof Grin. I agree about the gym rich and kelly which is why pre-baby I used to do a 6.30am spin class. No boredom there mostly due to the three hot guys who I used to sit behind ahem.Their all in one Lycra cycling suits hid nothing when it came to the off your seat bits of the work out. And obviously it was very enjoyable to watch them stretch out afterwards Smile

pixieg1rl · 03/02/2016 13:13

Mwah, you gorgeous thing nickel, you are a Star Thanks!

Nickel45 · 03/02/2016 13:48

Hope you think it's worth it pix :) xx

KellyHb · 03/02/2016 15:27

I've heard of the spin classes mads but never really worked out what it was. Metafit, is apparently all the rage at the moment. Don't know what that is either. Confused

What lovely handwriting you have nickel. I watched the first episode but not last weeks. Don't know if I'll get round to it really.

woof have you started watching Outlander yet?

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 15:55

Uncannily, seeing AT in his towel reminded me the Outlander needed an outing kel so just watched first two episodes. Hmm, looks promising so far, just need to brush up on my gaelic and put my tongue back in off the kitchen worktop

Enjoy LM pix - bit wooden, bit silly, JNs bit annoying eyebrows and hairpiece, but BA is mighty fine in black leather jacket and post coital bed scene followed by some odd coloured vomit oops hope that's not too much of a spoiler

moojangles · 03/02/2016 17:18

It imoroves woof. Got one episode left!

moojangles · 03/02/2016 17:18

Unlike my typing

pixieg1rl · 03/02/2016 17:48

In thread herd mentality news it's sausages for tea here as well. Unfortunately, as happens in life, when you hope for a big meaty one all I could find were chipolatas Sad

pixieg1rl · 03/02/2016 17:57

Hope you're feeling up to going back to work Jen and aren't going out of a sense of duty. I always feel frustrated that being off sick means you are too ill to actually get stuff done and make progress on all the shit I never get time to do.

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2016 18:18

Thanks to That Towel I opted for meatballs for tea in the end, as that was the state AT was in following the marathon wipe-round today. Finest quality venison natch Grin Enjoy your chipolatas though pix

apsara03 · 03/02/2016 18:51

I'm never good this time of the year. Too busy - kids birthdays one in Nov then one in Jan, Christmas plus i teach mainly exam classes so lots of mock exam marking plus lack of sunshine. The weekend in London and some sunshine has made a massive difference Smile feel like I can cope.
richtea and kelly Re the gym have you tried the group classes. I find them much more motivating than doing exercise on my own. I love body combat. You burn loads of calories and it's good fun. Also body pump for toning. Meta fit and tabard are good too quite challenging to begin with as based on army fitness. I started doing meta for when OG was on, it inspired me to get fit. Imaging CJ shouting "stay with me" was rather motivating but probably sent my heart rate sky high.
There are some good aps when you can log your weight, food, exercise. Which can be quite motivating. Over a year I lost 12 kg.
Good luck hope you can find something that motivates you and that you enjoy Smile

Ilovelblue · 03/02/2016 19:20

I had Toulouse sausages for tea, do they count?
