Hi all. Long time no post but I check in every so often and keep up with the fab fanfic. Anyway I was in my induction for a new job in the NHS and they showed the film linked below and I was almost in floods. Took me back to the fab OG soundtrack and this is definitely my favourite.

Interesting day on Ilove's road as the (single) man across the road has announced to my friend (who is his next door neighbour) that he's getting married. He's been out to the Far East twice in 2015 and it's somebody he met online. Draw your own conclusions from that. He only returned to the UK on 30 December and we did wonder if he'd come back with the lady in question in tow but it seems he's going over there to get married. He's paying for the wedding as well. Not sure how the visa situation works or whether she gets an automatic passport once she marries him.

Still on operation catch up with Xmas tv. Currently watching a Lego documentary

Total teething hell. DS has 4 X top teeth breaking through at once.

Oh, poor you mads, those first teeth are a bugger (well they all are, but the first few are especially horrible). Lots of cuddles, teething gel and calpol.

My son went on a 24 hour nursing strike when his teeth came in, is he still feeding ok? Ice cubes of frozen breast milk might help (or be a distraction). Make sure MrMads pulls his weight as well #sternface

Just read online that MK is headed our to SA in next couple of weeks to start filming! Whether it's true or not, don't know. There's been no cast announcement yet has there. MK said its going to be hard leaving her husband as his grandma died the other week.

Not much happening here apart from tons of ironing I did today. Seriously pix I might take a leaf out of your book and stop altogether.

I visited a new dentist today. I didnt trust my old one with all the work he said I needed doing and my new one (who's lovely) she agrees with me and I dont need said work doing so I'm changing over this week.

I need to start watching TV I taped over Xmas too. We're getting rid of Virgin Media at the end of the month as its so expensive.

Thanks ladies bottom 4 were no bother but these top ones are pants! Might try the frozen breast milk pix thanks. No he is off the boob at the mo and screams at any solid food too. bless him he's asleep now but still doing that post crying shuddering . MrMads doesn't respond to the sternface unfortunately and his helpful response is the usual maybe he's hungry! Argh!

Oh mads, I want to give you all a big hug. It's a rough episode to go through, if he's not feeding its really hard. Have you expressed and cup fed? EBM in a sippy cup or even a syringe might get something down him

Thanks Pix now I've settled him on the sofa and he's asleep he's managed a sort of 'dream feed' so feel happier he's had something. Times like these call for OG episode 2 so digging out the DVD.

Maddie how are things today?

Took me ages to get to sleep last night so consequently struggled to get up this morning.

Better thanks ilove he's back to rolling around the living room happy. Fed every 1.5 hrs overnight as I think he was so hungry from not really feeding during the day. A mini OG marathon helped! Have a good day! It's lovely and sunny here but have to visit mil this morning

That sounds positive mads, glad you made the most of it with an OG marathon. Hope the MIL visit gives you a chance of a rest, sounds like a rough night for you.

Bloody freezing here and just going to get colder. We've had such a mild winter it's going to be a shock to the system.

Plans coming together nicely for the meet in London, I'm getting rather excited for it all.

We never had too many problems with teething. Calpol at bedtime should help a little.

Back to work after a long weekend.... Although I have my desk calendar, BA is the man feature but I have added some extras (so they don't think I'm completely mad!)

Did you watch the adaptation of Persuasion with Ciaran Hinds and Amanda Root Kelly?

He's my Wentworth, rugged, weathered and aloof. I know you like the RPJ one, but it's worth looking out for (I might have it at home actually), it's very true to the book in feel.

Afternoon. Funny you mentioned that version of Persuasion pixie as I caught it over Christmas on Drama. I've got say I'm not a great Ciaran Hinds fan but that's not a bad version. I like the fact that it's not too polished - everyone looks a little bit more rough and unkempt around the edges. Amanda Root is good and does look quite plain in it and after all Anne is supposed to have lost her bloom. Have to say however that RPJ is definitely my preference!
