K&K? That makes things a bit tricky. I organised the sweep, am team leader and scoop the 20 squid winners winnings. K&K was chosen by my immediate line manager.....another management scam!! Blush Grin

Agree, splitting the money may be the fairest way to avoid griping.

So Jay and Aliona won without ever having had a 10 from Craig.

Wrt the jive, I like Jay but I think he's inconsistent and prone to making mistakes. Hence they probably didn't do the jive again because they weren't confident he wouldn't cock it up and ruin it.

Just re-watched them giving the glitterball. Jay is supercute, though, seems like a lovely guy. He and Aliona seemed very sad and emotional - think they're really going to miss each other.

Aliona and Jay I think deserved to win. Technically Kelly might have been the best on the night - but great dancers also have that extra chemistry and there is no denying Jay and Aliona had that. It looked like mutual love.

Aliona too looked lost for words and completely in feeling mode. The cameras were on her at the end. - she could have used the opportunity to say something and enjoy the glory and limelight but she didn't.

No, because I think the last three were all very good dancers. Also, the majority of voters won't have a clue what they are voting for with respect to technique. The fact that you can vote before seeing the dances also shows it has little to do with dance talent.

But if judges scores counted too there would even more 'fix' claims as the result would seem manipulated. Surely it's right that the 10 million viewers who invest in the show and fall in love with their favourite dancers decide on the winner?

I thought Jay was absolutely the right winner, and it's irrelevant that he's got dance experience because as kurrikurri said upthread you actually can't learn that kind of natural movement and talent. It's like when Louisa won X Factor - great, powerful voice but just not got that incredible unique tone and quality that, say, Rihanna or Adele have. She'll never have it even if she has voice training 10 times a week for 10 years.

However I agree that on the night their dances were disappointing.

It was a bit weedy not to attempt the jive again, in case it wasn't as good.

Kellie was fantastic, but people just don't warm to her, plus they felt K&K were aggressively pushed at them in the last few weeks by the judges and didn't like it.

And on another note what the h* was Claudia wearing ? it showed off one boob, then she wore a Laura Ashley 8o's jumble sale dress for the final Please Claudia look at what Darcey wears , she is the same build/shape and always looks amazing someone needs take her in hand for the next show.

Had to watch it overnight as I was out yesterday evening. I thought the show dances were all disappointing and the right people were in the final three. I thought Georgia was going to win though.

Kevin and kellie - are a good team and very pally pally but it's 4 days before Christmas and the British public want love and romance in a dance. Aliona and Jay delivered that. I think so. Wins every time.

I liked ALL the showdances.

I don't think Georgia is too "weepy". I mean people can't help getting emotional.

I don't dislike Katie for "gurning" as..um...it's her face and not her fault.

I don't understand what is so smug about Kevin or the dislike for Kellie. They're just doing their thing and enjoying themselves.

I don't think Claudia needs to take dress tips from Darcey or sort her fringe out. She's her own person and got her own style.

I don't think Aliona is a strop-thrower or a man stealer and who wouldn't love Jay?

I do wish Jay had done his Jive but he's a lovely lad and I'm glad he won.

I think crying occasionally if someone say something particularly nice or awful is fair enough. Dissolving in to tears every time someone talks to you just looks silly though and as though you haven't grown up yet.

Just finished watching, I really enjoyed all the dances but think KK and GG were better than Jay on the night. His show dance was a bit underwhelming.
Managed to stay all spoiler free all the way through the first show, then a friend told me they had uploaded some photos from the work do onto FB and I saw a friend post something. grrrr

Wonder if Aliona will leave now. She's won twice so is guaranteed the duffers from now on. And she's never very gracious about it either. KFG is overdue a duffer too.
