Carla's leaving for good. Alison King confirmed it in the Radio Times. Its a shame. I like Carla (and her cheekbones).

I'll miss Carla too. She brings her scenes to life.

I'd like to see her in a lead role in a different show. She could certainly carry it.

I bet the the script writing was a lot to do with her deciding to go for good.

So Carla leaves. I bet her half sis (name escapes me) goes too having dragged Sophie Websta with her (please) but leaving Aiden in a love triangle with Leanne's sister (sorry names are not my thing today) and Jason. I love her laugh so she better not go.

Do they think we're stupid? A few letters and an old rose and all of a sudden they have to call in Red Adair? Then Cathy fanning the flames to make it worse instead of flinging the cloth over the bin.

Sheesh. I could eat alphabetti spaghetti and shit better scripts than this.

Much handwringing about Emily's trip to Peru, but has anyone actually asked Norris/Rita if she's arrived safely???! Like a normal person would, surely..

Its probably childish but the Carry On style innuendoes are funny at the moment: "Crumpet ?" At critical moment between Roy/Kathy was just one of three tonight, and Mary's facial expressions with married guy at dinner were priceless.

Could someone explain please how Aiden's mum died and why it was Johnny's fault?

Oh yes, the scene in the pub (Wetherspoons?) with Mary and Brendan were great.

Re Aiden's Mum, I think my attention had wandered at that point but didn't she find out about his Dad's affair then run out of the house in distress and ended up crashing her car? I think anyway, can't say I care that much tbh!

I enjoyed tonight's too. The bits of wit make Corrie what it is.

Johnny told his wife about his affair and she was so distressed that she rushed out of the house and was mown down by a drunken driver.

Poor Mary! Brendan really knows how to show a girl a good time, doesn't he! That awful eaterie, with Mary in her finery....

..well at least she got her leg over.

I'm clearly not the only one to find Brendan strangely attractive though.......must be that funny dimple thing he has in his cheek.....

When Mary was squealing and it was the kid under the table I laughed a lot.

Is Brendon one of those that come from that large family of actors and entertainers. I can't think of the name but I think he has quite a few brothers and sisters that have been in lots of things? They all have a similar look.

I love Mary, she's really grown on me and I think the writers like her too because she gets some killer one liners.
