A new thread as we head towards the worst part of every soap year - Christmas.

Dreading the return of Simon.

Dreading more of the arr Gareh & Alya "plot".

When did the brewery close and become a convenient empty garage?

Make yourself at home and get ready for more totally hopeless acting - it has to improve soon, surely?

Some cracking lines tonight: "Literally dancing on his grave", "hearse-chasing old slapper". Grin

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 19:49

How does it smell? Isn't he encased in concrete? Confused

cherrytree63 · 09/11/2015 19:54

And now Erica's wearing a top made of j cloths.

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 19:55

I don't know how they are going to put an end to this body under the floor story line
.. All I know is Jason is leaving and I bet be gets framed for it. He did the building on it after all...

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 20:14

Aah good thinking. So the annexe will be dug up and the body removed and it all forgotten after that presumably.

Fiz and whatsisname are awful aren't they?

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 20:14

Tyrone.

Leavingsosoon · 09/11/2015 20:15

I was just watching corrie catch up sparkling and Tyrone sobbing over hopes hair was awful!

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 20:26

Bracing myself for round 2 now Leaving. Grin

cherrytree63 · 09/11/2015 20:37

Why is Amy so pale, with ginormous bags under her eyes?

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2015 20:40

I thought that too cherry, she looks like she needs a week's sleep.

These latest storylines are really yawnsome.

EachandEveryone · 09/11/2015 20:41

Anyone kno where Sally got her coat from?

southeastdweller · 09/11/2015 21:54

Keep checking here!

eddiemairswife · 09/11/2015 21:55

Christmas Eve....... the Street has been transformed by Tyrone (with Kevin's help) into a Winter Wonderland with artificial snow and two reindeer borrowed from Chester Zoo. As Hope steps outside various neighbours gather in the doorways singing in perfect harmony 'Silent Night'. Slowly, then with increasing intensity real snow begins to fall. The nation weeps!!!

Leavingsosoon · 09/11/2015 21:57

Oh no, it'll be a mawkish one!

Hate to sound horrible, but I always get really bored on soaps when someone's ill!

absolutelynotfabulous · 09/11/2015 22:30

There's a very similar coat to Sally's in Marks. Same pattern, anyway (quite fancied it..).

theliverpoolone · 09/11/2015 23:06

I enjoyed tonight's episodes, thanks to the return of Tim and Sally. That was a long honeymoon they went on - do we know where they went?! Tim had some great lines, although I did think Sally might have eased up on tutting and rolling her eyes at everything he says.

Can't believe Steve would disappear off to Spain just because Tony tiled the toilets - I thought he must have found out about Liz going to the gig with him at first, but obviously that's still a secret. I know they've had to come up with a reason for Simon Gregson to be written out for a while, but I thought that was a bit flimsy.

BoGrainger · 10/11/2015 07:14

Only watched a little bit last night but enjoyed the hearse chasing old slapper line! Why doesn't that waste of space boyfriend step in and tell Tracey to rein it in? Love Sally and Tim being back. I love Sally's sarcasm to Tim being countered by her lust for his body. Great stuff!
Do we know who paid for the annex? The Platt's don't have full-time jobs so I can't imagine any large savings. A loan on top of their mortgage? Kylie getting down to sniff the carpet and then using a can of 'Relaxing Lavender' was quite humorous too. I might start watching again based on tonight's offerings.

WotNoLoobrush · 10/11/2015 08:09

Yy episodes were funny yesterday. Glad Sally and Tim are back.

I wasn't expecting Steve to leave quite so suddenly. There wasn't even a row.

I wonder if Amy's plotting, considering what she's found out. Tracy's bound to get involved isn't she? (so much for her turning over a new leaf)

southeastdweller · 11/11/2015 21:20

Agree that Tony tiling the toilets was a flimsy reason for Steve to disappear.

I enjoyed tonight's episode apart from the Simon element.

Pyjamaramadrama · 11/11/2015 21:49

Oh no Simon is back, he's vile.

absolutelynotfabulous · 11/11/2015 22:04

Simon was particularly vile tonight. Poor Leanne.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 12/11/2015 00:11

Simon's holiday wasn't long enough. By several decades.

SymphonyofShadows · 12/11/2015 07:14

I had really hoped that Simon would come back in several years time with a new head. Why doesn't Ken tell Tracey to sling her hook? She has moved her BF in and just takes the piss.

Rachel0Greep · 12/11/2015 09:47

I hoped that Simon would be just forgotten about, for a long, long time.
