Oh and yes to Sophie and clipboard. Kevin went from booming business and expanding to nothing. They "new premise" is right behind them empty but can't lease it, really??

And how did they know site was 4 months pregnant without doing an ultrasound? From blood tests...? What?

Why do they keep putting the spoilers in the adverts? No point watching the actual episode just watch the adverts!

Sophie and her clipboard are getting on my nerves. Standing outside the factory making notes... on what? Hasn't she got an office?

Agreed. Is a clipboard the only way the writers feel they can convey someone doing some kind of work?
What the heck is she supposed to be doing, in the garage anyway!

And is it Sally's clipboard, seeing as she is now back on the machines, in the factory. We need to know .

I thought some of Wednesdays episode was really good - just the normal day to day stuff. Like Todd saying Eileen she looked like an angry air hostess and the thing about the stuffed rabbit.

Where is Carla living now? Is she back in VC? Do they drive to work from there?!

Isn't Alison King beautiful? You'd think she could look for a fella outside the street instead of ending up with boring Nick.

Oh for god's sake. Can people in soaps not just go out with people for a couple of years before getting married? You know like in REAL LIFE. this will be Carla's fourth marriage and fifth engagement and she's only 40.

This Good Samaritan story is so boring. Would probably be slightly involving if Dee was a regular or recurring character so the viewers had some kind of history with her but I guess they wanted another poorly thought-out storyline to give to Les Dennis.

I wonder if the writers will shock us all and have Sophie and Kate not end up as a couple? God forbid that there be two lesbian characters living on the street who're only friends.

I'd have rather seen Sophie get involved with her dad's business by training to become a mechanic. She'd be more use to the business that way. He could have called it 'Webster and daughter'.

Yes Sophie is overdressed as was Sally in factory.

I find Nick & Carla entirely unconvincing as a couple and I'm surprised Leanne hasn't had more to say about the fact Carla is romantically involved with yet another one of her ex husbands. Seems strange that Nick has gone from dating/marrying/sleeping with women his own age (Leanne, Eva, Kylie) to running around with Erica who looks old enough to be his mum and now 40 something Carla.

It's time to get rid of the awful Les Dennis character!

Kylie isn't his own age is she?

I would have thought Carla was nearer his age than Kylie - David's only 24 isn't he?

So according to Corrie Wiki, Carla is 40, Nick is 34, Kylie is 28 and Eva is 27. So he's bang in the middle

I just find the whole everyone on the street marrying each other tiresome.

Maybe they should just have a post-watershed episode with a Leanne/Peter/Carla/Nick foursome. Get it all out of their systems.

I'm a couple of episodes behind just watching the sarah in hosp scenes- I just cannot say how much I hate the callum storyline its tuning the whole show for me - so unbelievable.

I don't see how the scriptwriters can keep sarah/David or kylie in the show going forward there surely needs to be some justice? Are we supposed to be rooting for them- because I'm finding the whole thing stomach churning with him buried under Gail's room.

I know that there can be a comparison draw between this and brookside's body under the patio but that worked because we saw how desperate Mandy and Beth were and Trevor was a disgusting shit so we were always on there side and Brookside was dark enough a show for it to work- Corrie isn't dark enough and I'm so mad they've done this storyline!

wishful I was thinking the same about the Callum saga. Maybe Tina O'Brien or Paula Lane will get pregnant again and go on ML. I'm glad Callum's dead but the story's a hell of a mess for the new producer to sort out next year.

I also remember the Trevor Jordache story in Brookie and I agree the darkness of this story doesn't sit well in a soap like Corrie.

So Sarah went from being 16 weeks pregnant to 20 weeks in a couple of days, or have I got that wrong I thought the hospital said 16 but Todd said tonight "so you are 20 weeks, now admittedly I only half watch most of the time and was listening out for ds2 at the time tonight (very anxious day, doesn't usually have a good end) so I could have misheard.

Didn't they say 4 months in the hospital? Which could be either!
