Anyone watching this, I like Suranne Jones so I'm hoping it's good, but she is one paranoid woman, maybe she has good reasons, we'll wait and see

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but how on earth did she suddenly appear on the beach?

The old bloke looked down for a few seconds at the phone and she went from nowhere to be seen to standing right in front of him?

New theory, she did drown and is now a ghost? woooo!! grin

It is truly the only explanation. She was under the water too long. She could never have made it. She swam out to far and went down too deep. Its ridiculous!

I don't understand why she asked the PA to email her over the photos when she had already seen them on "Facebook", she could have just done a screenshot! or even downloaded them. I also don't get why she keeps on confiding in Ros, she has already proven she can't be trusted..there is definitely a build up and ending relating to Ros.

Just want to say that everyone in work is loving our theories on this thread!!!

Back a few comments ago 2rebecca asked why Ros would want Simon if he was unfaithful, but I had tied it to her saying something to Gemma about being loved, despite the affair, and "that is worth an awful lot".

Do you think it will work out the Simon has slept with all of the women in the holiday photos? Or really mix it up by having had him sleep with all the people in the photos?!

I wondered if it was Kate's mum who was in charge of Whitestone and that she might withdraw the funding or take over the whole enterprise when she finds out about the affair? Esp if she previously (or currently?) has slept with simon?

I hope this works out as exciting as some of the theories on this thread.....

It seems strange though that Kate's parents would collude with her having an affair with a married man????

The photo looks rather photoshopped to me....it could still be that all isn't as it quite seems...

And agree that there's something deeply not right about Ros - she's been more unprofessional than Gemma - and why didn't Gemma 'dob her in' for breaking patient confidentiality about Kate, Simon's STD visit etc...???? Makes no sense at all???

My theory is that Kate's mum is funding the project (Whitestone mystery investor) because she knows that Simon is Kate's father and feels guilty that he can't play a part in her life. She does not know about the affair. Simon is confused over his love for Kate because he is in fact her father and can't understand how he can be in love with both Dr F and Kate - his love for Kate is different he just doesn't know why.

Neither Kate's mother or father know about the affair, Dr F holds all the cards and shit is going to hit the fan in the final episode

Can link the neighbours over the road and how they fit with it all though!

Simon not Kate's dad. I just can't see that one playing out.

could Kate be dr fosters daughter,adopted at birth? or is there some sort of connection with the boy and Kate? I suppose the boy is far to young to have fathered a child.
Could the boy be the one on holiday who took the photo?

2 things bothering me - loose ends or poorly thought out plot lines.

1. Gemma keyed Simon's car but it hasn't been mentioned again
2. Kate's family have just opened a new restaurant. How could they find the time to all be home on a (Friday ?) night.

Her little terraced house is somethign no 22 year old could normally buy. Beautiful decor, flashy green car.

Yes and she doesn't seem to work, bar being a stroppy waitress at her parents restaurant. Perhaps she's a professional ice maiden. The caaaw.

I think either Kate has forged her dad's signature or her dad is funding it but knows nothing about the affair. I think the mum is probably in the dark about all of it

I can get emails on my phone. Sure the secretary would have had copies but I totally lost how Gemma saw them.

It's like all the connecting bits have been edited out or something.
