Anyone watching this, I like Suranne Jones so I'm hoping it's good, but she is one paranoid woman, maybe she has good reasons, we'll wait and see

I enjoyed it but is it going to be a Broadchurch? Go on and on, convolution after convolution and annoy the hell out of me.

Dh and I share passwords! I get into his phone and we often swap phones depending on who has charge!

She has some kind of mental disorder I think?

So basicially he is with the daughter, and everyone already knows, and everyone has his back and covers fir him? Why would they do that?

Well either that was an enormous load of old bobbins, or my dh is having an affair.

He's the senior partner at his practice and he claims that some days he doesn't even have time to take a piss or eat a sandwich, and yet here is Dr Foster doing all sorts of crazy bastard shit in daylight hours without a care in the world.
Where are the 7 fraught phone calls from the surgery receptionist asking where the holy hell she is as she's still got three home visits to do and her afternoon surgery started 15 minutes ago??

It's all very dodgy.

It's one of those dramas where I need someone sitting next to me to explain what's going on. Did she find a second phone in the car? I shall watch next week.

She was quick to offer the sleeping tablets, quick to noise up the Disney boyfriend. The old dude has a story about her. She's corrupt in some way?

I liked it. It was a bit crazy but I enjoyed it anyway. It's only a 5 parter so hopefully not going to drag on and on.

When I accidentally found dodgy texts on DH's phone I became like a woman possessed desperately checking emails, phone, his whereabouts etc, so I totally got the "crazy-will-do-anything-to-find-out obsession".

Oh Gary that's awful, how did it turn out? Or are you going to string us along for 5 weeks

And who were the other messages from on the phone. Will pause Tomorrow and have another look bit obv roZ is playing both sides - I know she was Simons friend but to text and say she was going to follow him

Plus if I were her I wouldn't have said anything to him after seeing at old peoples home. I would have checked to see where he was next day

But all over one blond hair on a scarf - but seems he is having an affair with susies daughter ?

I liked the scenery though!

It was bonkers but I really enjoyed it!

I thought he was shagging them all from the phone photos, but I'm sure there will be a twist.

Blondes she snogged him infront of everyone then she repeated some of that poem- "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned" so she obviously got plans for all of them.

It was bugging me about where it was filmed - anyone have any ideas?

nilbyname - I was right. Sadly he went to even greater lengths to conceal what was going on (emotional affair - refused to admit they were more than friends) and I have spent the last few weeks since I found out, prying and spying, swinging between exhilarated that I have got one over on him to kneed in the stomach at his betrayal. So I really (perhaps overly) related to Suranne's character in this.

I thought it was bloody good. Yes there were bonkers bits, like the unprofessional aspects, but I thought it all added up to how she's feeling. I wouldn't be thinking straight either in her shoes. Suranne Jones is a great actress and I actually felt a bit wrung out for her poor character.

Heard interview with Suranne Jones this afternoon, I really wanted to watch it.
She said it's more about how you marry someone and you can change your life, do you become the person they want you to be.
I think more will come out about her character when she was younger.

I know that feeling though- when you find out your husbands fucking around and your friends are in on it.
She played it well.

I think the couple have kept his secret, but I think her friend from the surgery was trying to make him tell her.

After hanging out in Relationships for some time now I didn't find it far fetched at all.

I thought the hospital visit was great. You could feel her relief and her longing to believe him and to have found "the reason". Yet it lasted just a matter of minutes until she realised he was lying to her face. And it was so easy for him. He didn't miss a beat.

Then pendulum of intense turmoil was evident. It would make you feel totally crazy as the pp said.

The phone with photos etc was insane. Imagine what that does to you. It's not like the relationship is obviously failing. Good sex they seem to get on very well, he openly declares love for her in front of friends and family etc. How would all that not totally fuck with your perception of reality and make you feel a bit deranged.

Yes I think that there will be Things About Her That We Don't Know. Possibly London Things. Eg she could certainly handle herself, when she faced up to barmaid's boyfriend and burnt his hand with the cigarette (or threatened to?). And she grabbed the scissors like she knew how to stab someone too...

And that suspended doctor will have to be relevant. Did he raise doubts over her, and she had him for that?

I liked it though, and I love Suranne Jones, and I really love the kitchen.

Saw the last 15 minutes and wasn't impressed. All a bit slow and angst ridden with lingering indulgent camera shots

I fell asleep halfway through so think will need to re watch.

It might be good. There has to be a lot of background info, I reckon, if it's going to get another 4 episodes?
