US OPEN tennis thread- it's the last Grand Slam of the year- who will win?

Obviously, my heart wants Nadal to end a shit year, with a massive (if pretty unlikey) win. But hey, the defending champ is Marin Cilic- so who knows what will happen. But he will face Coric in the first round, which might be tricky.

And Murray has Kyrgios. For a one-time only deal, I am firmly team Murray. The arrogant little Aussie needs to end 2015 with his tail between his legs- and come back next year more contrite. Of course, it has the potential to be as messy and sweary as their other encounters- which will trigger Nick's suspended ban. Here's hoping

Andy going to Belgium to play Davis Cup and thereby missing the O2 will be the right decision as Djok goes through the card. No point getting another thrashing there when he can be a hero in Ghent. And he'll have the baby to think about at the Aussie open. Everyone will just have to bide their time and wait for Djok to hit the wall.

Turkey was good - but I am now thinking it may have been our last trip

We've been going to the same place for the last 7 years or so & now son (who is a twat) has taken over from Dad & changed everything & wants it all to be modern & sparkly instead of slow & local............... and Erdogan and everything else that is going on in the world... we will see. I've normally booked flights for September next year by now but am holding off atm.
